Myself as I swam out the door and up onto land at full speed. As I walked on the shore Daniel sitting there nonchalantly. How am I going to face him? I don't want him to bite me. Even though he is kinda hot. Omg! Did I just say that Daniel is hot? I winced. I did not just say that. I quickly dodge behind a rock when he look in my direction.
"You can come out. I don't bite." He said.
"You sure about that?" I say a with a little bit of attitude. Ok a lot of attitude.
"What's your problem grumpy pants?" He asks. Just then a girl appears behind him. I just know she's a mermaid by the color of her eyes. She is a common blue-tailed mermaid. They're found everywhere.
"Hey Charlotte." Daniel says putting an arm around her.
"Hailey why are you here? It's a Saturday which means no school." He says. Shit! I forgot there was no school today. I turn to go but out of the corner of my eye Charlotte smirks. As I dive into the cold water I feel...jealous? I realize I like Daniel. This can not be happening. "Yes it is." A familiar voice rings through my head. DANIEL!!!
