Staring up at the towering complex, I couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed.
'Christ, its bigger than King Kong's Ding Do-[redacted]'

The UA building was much larger than I'd expected... to say the least.
Considering the government housing facility I stayed in was a mere street away from UA, you would think that I'd have seen this monstrosity before but unfortunately not, I really don't get to go out much. Security is relentless.
Maybe that was why a sense of anticipation washed into my chest when I took a deep breath, staring up at the strangely shaped building.
Maybe graduating from here would give the government enough proof that I could be allowed freedom.
I knew it was stupid, normally I would have shot down a thought like that immediately. Yet stubbornly, I allowed myself to cling to that hope.
That flimsy yet precious hope.
(ok calm down Nagito Komaeda)

With that, I took my first step through the gates. Surrounded by people who I knew were all around my age, it was refreshing to say the least.
Once in the building, I pulled out the little hand drawn map Hawks had made for me but...

'...did he write this with his feet?'
The lines were so crooked some of them basically merged with others. The handwriting was worse than a three year old's and he had neglected to write any sort of floor number on the scrap of paper. I bit back an annoyed sigh and moved to the side.
I pulled the chain Hawks had given me from under my shirt, a single crimson feather hung from the thin silver chain. I held it to my face and whispered fervently.
"Your map sucks, did you make a real bird scratch it out for you?"
Yeah I basically said that, just include like a tiny, eensie teensie sprinkle of colourful language.
(Thats if you consider a sprinkle to be the amount of salt Tsukishima has.)
But I digress.
I huffed and let the feather fall back onto my chest, moving to ask for some directions before the red feather rose up before my eyes.
'oh god...'
With the swiftness of a coursing river and all the force of a great typhoon, the tiny feather basically dragged me by the chain up the stairs. I swear I nearly bulldozed like 3 people and got choked so bad I wondered how people even had that kink.
However, it appeared that the feather did its job as I was now stationed by a towering door that had a protruding plaque with the 1A class etched into it. The feather fell back against my collar and I tossed it back under my shirt before pulling the door open.
It seemed like I was rather early, only a handful of students were in the classroom.
A few of them seem really friendly, in particular, a guy who looked like he was cosplaying Pikachu and a person who's hair defied gravity in red spiky peaks. They seemed to welcome me in with large waves and grins. It was honestly pretty cute and quite a change from the stiff smiles I'd get from doctors or all the other staff sent to rangle me. Kinda reminded me of Keigo.
