Cody ~ The first snow

Hello! And welcome back. Honestly I have a lot of motivation to actually write something at the moment even though I should be studying for my exams. They are literally killing me.

By the way: In really happy that so many people stick with this book even though I haven't been posting for a long time.  

Of course it doesn't get the recognition it used to get when I was still posting on a regular basis but who am I to judge that? I'm just grateful for everyone who was patient with me and didn't judge me even though my last one shot kinda sucked and was really bad (I thought that I really needed to update and kind of stressed myself to finally finish the one shot) but enough with that!

This one shot wasn't a request. I just didn't feel like writing something super happy today. My day has been kinda shit so this fits my current mood 

But I hope you like it! 

And by the way this is placed during winter time but I guess it's clear while reading!

The first snow. It was supposed to bring nothing but happiness.

The first snow. It should be linked with nothing but happy memories  

And yet you were watching as, for the first time of the year, the beautiful and calming snow fell out of the sky and onto the streets of Coruscant, with sad eyes

The first snow. You would usually run into the streets to catch as much of the beautiful scenery as possible.

But this year. None of this happened. With sad eyes you watched the children run through the streets while enjoying themselves without thinking about the cruel world and all the pain happening around them. You would be one of them. Ignoring the war and the brutality that resulted due to it for a moment. These were the most beautiful and happiest moments of your life.

The first snow showed you what real love meant but this year, this year it showed you the horrible side of the world.

Two years ago, you, a former Jedi knight, decided to break the most important rule the Jedi council wanted you to follow. The rule that forbid you to feel attached to anyone or even worse, fall in love with someone. How often did you hear the teachings of the Masters, that told you over and over again that emotions and attachments make you stop thinking rational. They lead to a path you shouldn't even think about ever in your life. Attachment leads to the dark side.

And still after being drilled to follow everything you were ordered or told to do, you decided to break the most important rule... for the person that made your day of the first snow to the most special one. He showed you what true love was and made you feel wanted. He gave you everything you ever craved for. You were his queen and he was your king. You thought nothing could ever bring a gap between you until you learned it the hard way two years later.... the day of the first snow. 

Cody.... Oh Cody, you thought. He was the one that made your favorite time of the year to the best one you ever experienced but just some hours ago he made it to the worst. You never thought anything like that would ever happen, especially not to you. And it made you realize how fast things can change and turn your world upside down...

After looking out of the window one last time, you turned around and walked into the kitchen of your hiding place, to make a tea to warm you up. That's the only negative part about this time of the year. It was freezing cold and even the small apartment you currently stayed in, didn't help you warm up as well. 

You could see your own breath as you grabbed the hot pot with tea and warmed your cold and slowly turning blue fingers at the heat that came from it. You sighed and tried to relax for the first time in the past few hours. It wasn't much but you eventually calmed down a bit after some time. Now you were able to think of what happened and what your next steps could be. But every time you started to think about the gruesome and horrible memories, you started to shake and get yet another panic attack.
