Ah... if only they had known.

Sadly, they did not know. Porphyrion was wise, and you can't argue with that. Sure, he was clumsy, and he was generally very dumb and shortsighted, but still wise.

A fake cardboard crown was in Orphis's possession, and the actual crown was consumed by Porphyrion.

It was easy for Porphyrion. He hired an actual five year old to create the elevator buttons, so the demigods will think Porphyrion's art and crafts sucks. Then, Porphyrion hired a professional to make a replica of the crown. Of course, Porphyrion could have used magic, but of course, he was too lazy.

Then, he put the crown in a giant pill, and grew in size until he could swallow the pill with the crown in it. Crown hidden, and Porphyrion got his medication/drugs for the day. It was a win win.

The demigods did not notice and Porphyrion's plan went perfectly.

Little did the giant king know, that he  was actually the one that had been wrong. The person he hired to make the crown made such a good replica that it got mixed up. Porphyrion had swallowed a cardboard crown.

Confused? Me too. But don't worry! It just gets even more confusing!

Of course, Porphyrion didn't realize. He was too busy gagging and choking, and he was sure that his plan went perfectly, and the demigods were going to return the crown.

Outside the Porphyrion Resort, Orphis and his buddies were facing some trouble. Apparently, Porphyrion sent reinforcements.

And this time, the demigods were too tired to do much.

The monsters lunged, eager to devour some flesh.
