chapter 5 : new friends

Naomi's P.O.V

The warmth that I was feeling made it hard to get up, but as soon as I opened my eyes I find myself embraced in Ace's arms.The warmth I felt was gone.I immediately jumped out of bed to get away from him.I fell flat on my ass making a loud sound.To my dismay Ace woke up.

"What the fuck naomi.what are you doing" he asked as he got up and rubbed his eyes.

I just stared at him in disbelief.

"Wh - what are you doing in the bed" I asked shocked.how did he get in i locked the door.

"I was fucking sleeping.what else would I be doing" he said cold heartedly.

"Stop fucking around and get up" He got out of bed and threw on a shirt .i watched as he grabbed his phone and head for the door.

"Get dressed, If your not down stairs in 10 minutes i'm coming to get you" he yelled as he left the room.

After I cleaned myself up and got dressed I went down stairs .Once again throughout the halls were men in suits with guns at their waist.i even saw woman in maid uniforms cleaning.When I got to the kitchen I found Stacy cooking breakfast.

"Mmm something smells delicious"

Stacy spun around surprised to see me.

"Omg Naomi i'm so glad your okay!When I saw Mr.Killian carrying you I was worried something happened" she said running out of breath.

"Calm down stacy i'm okay but I just wanted to say thank you for trying to help me " I said giving her a reassuring hug.

I Sat down at the island in the kitchen as Stacy gave me a plate of waffles and fruits with orange juice.i took a moment to scan the area for the monster himself.I was relieved to the fact he wasn't around.

"Stacy... who exactly is Mr.killian" I asked taking a bite of my waffle.

"Well like I said before he's a powerful man.He's the head of killian corp. And does business with all sorts of people like gangs,political leaders and other mafia's" she said but the last part in a whisper.

"Wait ace is in the mafia" I asked shocked.that would explain the guys in suits with guns.

"No silly he is the mafia.He's one of many powerful men who owns one.When his father died he had to take over" she said making me feel silly.

All I could say was oh with a small laugh.

"Hes well respected and feard.If I were you I would watch how you talk to Mr.killian.Hes not a man to be played with."

"Hes ruthless and cold hearted.I even heard he's killed before" she said cleaning up the kitchen.

"Well do you know why he bought me" I asked trying to take in all her information.

"No sorry he never said.He just said to watch you and take care of you".

What she said was surprising because after last night I didn't see Ace as caring at all.

"Funny seeing you here".

I spun around to find the guy from earlier.He was staring at me with a wide grin on his face.What was so funny?

"Jake leave her alone.Shouldn't you be kissing Mr.killian's ass or running errands for him" she says in a playfully Manor.

"I protect and serve stacy.It's Very different from ass kissing and running errands" he says laughing.

"Anyways calm down i'm just trying to make conversation" he said coming further into the kitchen.

"Well then it's finally nice to meet you" I said reaching my hand out for him to shake.Instead he took it and kissed it causing me to blush like some school girl.

"Likewise" he said charmingly

He sat down at the island next to me.

"So how was your night naomi" jake asked with a smirk.

I began to blush as my eyes popped out my head.did they know about last night?

"Umm it was good.thanks for asking." I say suddenly finding my food very interesting.

When I finished breakfast me, Stacy and Jake talked till we decided to watch a movie.Well me but they eventually loved the idea.We snuggled up on the couch with popcorn and candy.To my disbelief Jake and Stacy have never seen Fast and the Furious, it shocked me to my core.

"How have you guys never seen this movie.its an icon" I say throwing my arms in the air.

Jake and Stacy just laughed.

"Why are you so worked up.it's just a movie" jake says playfully

"Yeah the best movie of all time" I say taking my seat in between them.I started the movie and we stayed like this for hours.Before I knew it somewhere during the movie I had fell asleep in Jake's lap.
