8. arrival

~at the hideout~
my side was aching, the pain was excruciating. i was walking up the stairs, cold concrete steps, the forest green painted walls gave me a slight exhilaration but the dark feel of the tenements stairwell send a shiver down my spine.
i put my hand on the freezing door knob and turned it. i took a step into the room, some semi-melted snow dripped of my shoe then i looked up. about 10 faces were staring at me, i knew all of them, everyone was staring at me with there mouths open, shocked.
i looked to my left i could hear a floor board creek. sing came round the corner and let out a shocked gasp and froze. everyone was gathered round a table with something on it, i peered over there shoulders and saw blueprints to the hospital. so many thoughts were running through my head. then i heard a familiar laugh.....
a dark curly haired japanese boy came through the doorframe. my heart skipped a beat and his eyes widened, his mouth was open so was mine, WHAT WAS HE DOING HERE? was he here for......me?

without warning i felt him jump on me, his arms wrapped around my neck and his lips were on mine....
they were soft and gentle, like a flower kind of.....delicate. i was falling................literally. but i was falling slow. the kiss felt infinite, i crossed my eyes and i saw his eyes were closed. did he plan this? i felt warm and happy so happy, my heart was pounding was i nervous???

i didnt quite know what i was doing, but i knew it was right. i ran towards him, tears pooling in my eyes, he was safe i- i was so happy. i was extatic i lept onto him pushing him back, his golden locks were fluttering in the air, he's so beautiful......
then i kissed him, not hard though. my arm wrapped around his neck and i felt our chests hit each other. i wrapped a little bit of his silky hair around my finger but it kept slipping out. i knew his eyes were open so i kept mine shut. i realised his arms were flailing in the air, i hadn't quite thought about the fact we were falling, but it didn't matter.....i was with him at last i was finally WITH HIM!! our kiss felt like it was lasting forever........until we hit the floor.

ash's fell flat on his back and it the hard concrete, i had pushed him out the door. my weight on top of him made the impact harder, i could see him struggling to breath i panicked for a moment then realised he was just winded. i was straddled over his thighs and he kept coughing, i just stared at him cluelessly and confused, once he stopped coughing he lay his head back. he looked down at me gave me a little smile and giggled like a school girl, then his head fell back. i heard it wack against the concrete. i leaded forward putting my hands on his chest. his eyes where closed. i quickly shot up and looked around. thats when i noticed the blood seeping through his grey coat........
