The smell of grilled pork with sticky rice filled the atmosphere of the house. Pete’s father was cooking breakfast for everyone meanwhile Kao’s mother was washing the dishes.

Kao yawned as he unwrapped Pete’s arms around his waist, “hey Pete,” he shook his lover who was snoring softly. Pete groaned annoyed.

“It’s time to wake up, P’Pete.” he said.

“Five more minutes,” He groaned.

Kao groaned at Pete’s response and got up from the bed, rubbing his sleepy eyes. He opened the drawer and reached in to get the clothes that he’s going to be wearing today. He picked out a purple t-shirt with a white cat on it along with blue jeans.

He went into the walk in closet to change, because he was still shy to be naked in front of Pete-at times. When he got out of the closet, Pete had already woken up but his eyes were sparkling with full of lust.

“What the fuck are you looking at?” Kao asked cautiously.

“You look cuter every single day that passes.” Pete responded with a smirk.

“Shut up!”

What? It’s true.” Pete chuckled as Kao attempted to stop blushing. He stretched and got up from the bed. Pete quickly got dressed to go downstairs along with Kao. They saw their parents already on the dining table chatting and waiting for the lovers to start eating their breakfast.  They took a seat in front of them.

“Good morning Mom and Dad.” They said in unison. Both of the older parents smiled in response.

Kao put his phone to the side.

“ Pete, have you received any message back from T-power?” Pon asked. Kao’s phone rang and a mysterious message showed up. Kao excused himself and made his way outside.

He opened up the message and his heart took a halt.

“You’re such a disappointment to your family, faggot. Go kill yourself!” He didn’t know what to do. He was on the verge of crying. The tears that were welling up in his eyes were starting to sting. He went back to the kitchen to go for his bag and leave for some time alone.

Everyone’s eyes widened as they realized the sad expression plastered on Kao’s face, “Hey kao, what’s wrong,” Pete asked his lover in a worried tone, his eyes arched with a frown.

“Uh, nothing. I have to go to school early.” He muttered. He felt bad for lying to the ones he loves.

Pon and Karn signaled Pete to go see what upsetted Kao. Pete threw his chair to the side as he stood up and ran after his lover who was sobbing.
