JAY ODAIR

My stylist zipped up the back of my turquoise tux. I have no idea why it needed to be zipped, most tux's you put on like normal clothes. I didn't bother asking.

I stood in the waiting room for about a half hour until the host girls called my name.

I sit down on the really long pink couch. The girls scooted down from their side until Joanna's hips were touching me. I tried scooting down farther but a long line of pillows blocked my path.

Ravea asked the first question, "How do you feel about the games?"

That was easy, "I think they're stupid." I didn't evn raise my tone of voice. It was the truth.

Sky's face turned white and she opened her mouth as if say something but she quickly closed it. Joanna shrugs her shoulders and aks, "How was you life before the rebllion? Was it magnificent?"

"Ha! Not even close! My dad was one of the top rebals to win our freedom for Panem. He had many times were he was almost killed... but all his work was taken away." I look away. This is such a waste of time. Can't I just enter the arena win and leave? I don't even want to start thinking I'll have to kill.

Sky finally blurts out her question, "Do you have a stratagy?"

"No."

Sky blurts out another question, "What about allies?" They aren't tough questions, thus making sence they came from Sky. Sky seems nice.

I smile and reply, "Yes I might have an ally or allies, but I'll keep that a secret until the games."

Ravea is disapointed, "Come on! Well at least tell us who you fear the most!" She winks.

"Well... Toraro is pretty scary looking. I'd say him"

Ravea smiles and is about to sy another question but Joanna butts in, "Well what one of us would you like to be sponsored by?"

This was the easiest of all, "Sky!"

Then the buzzer sounded. My time was up. So I left, quickly!
