CHAPTER 7: Chaotic

"I understand your situation. I would like to help you, of course, but there will have to be benefits on both sides."

"I know. We can offer protection, and even help with your predicament of...you know. The lustful disposition of your citizens."

Cross, Killer, Dust, and Horror froze.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?"

"Killer stole my chocolate bar!"
"It was Horror's idea!"
"Honestly, I was just trying to help Cross get it back from Horror and Killer!"

"I swear. I can't leave you alone for 5 minutes! And where is Error?"

"Mania said if I let her be with Error for a bit, she would get me something to eat."

"Seriously, Horror? I swear."

"Well? One of you get Error back here!"

"Gotcha!"
Away went Cross. Horror slowly inched towards Killer to grab the chocolate bar. Killer retracted his hand.

"So, Error. You're the God of Destruction where you're from, huh?"

"...yEs. NoT tHe mOSt deLIgHtfUl jOb. EsPecIAlly wItH ThAt sQuId cHAsIng mE aRoUNd."

"I see. But hey, some of the scars look cool~."

They awkwardly stared at each other.

"So, whose this Squid person?"

"....InK. hE wOUlD bEaT mE uP qUIte A lOt bAcK tHeRe."

"Huh. I don't know anyone named Ink here."

Error seemed to brighten up. But then, he realized that this Storyshift Chara had a different name than the one back 'home'. Which meant that the same was most likely for Ink. His shoulders slumped.

Cross ran over to them.

"Error! Nightmare wants you back."

Error nodded and waved at Mania. She looked at Cross and smiled.

"Hey. Wanna have some friendly chit chat? You know, nothing more. After all, there is no need to be shy~."

"Okay..?"

Mania grinned

"And where is Cross?"

"mAnIa WaNtED tO tAlK To hIm."

Nightmare nodded in understanding.
"Alright. Now, please watch over these fools, Error. I believe Killer is trying to bait Horror to jump out the window with a chocolate bar."

Error nodded, and approached the situation with caution.

"Now, where we we..."
He turned back to Servile. Servile waved his hand to show he didn't mind the attitude of his 'boys'. Nightmare nodded in appreciation of his patience.

In the end, Nightmare was successful in 'teaming up' with this AU. Thankfully, Servile didn't have the large amount of lust that most of the inhabitants of the AU had. Mania talked with Cross for a large amount of time, agreeing with him that chocolate was clearly the most superior treat. Error was successful in preventing Horror from jumping out the window. Things were going well, until...

"Ah! What a wonderful AU! About time I checked on Storyshift. Heard that the human hasn't fallen down yet this run."
