OLIVIA

I make it back to the dorm without bumping into anyone else and close the door behind me, pushing my back against it. That seriously did not just happen.

Why me.

That guy though. It's so weird that it was him out of all people to be in that bathroom and to think about what they were doing... oh god that's mortifying. They would've known I was in there when they were having shower sex. Fuck.

Ronnie seems to still be fast asleep. Curled up in a ball surrounded by our mixed blankets. Thank god. I really don't think I'll be able to talk to anyone for a while now.

I grab my pyjamas that were in my shower bag and slip them on because I clearly couldn't get changed in the bathroom like I planned with them in there.

I lay in bed but no sleep came to me. I should take my sleeping pills that dad adamantly encourages me to take but I hate the way it makes me feel of a morning so I decide against it.

All that was in my mind was the way those deep green eyes stared into mine and his strong, broad body pressing against mine... Sleep doesn't come much.

I wake up to the sun burning my eyes through the open blinds. My back aches and I have a mild headache from lack of sleep. Maybe I should've taken those sleeping pills. My insomnia has been worse than ever as of late.

My lectures aren't starting until Monday for the Psychology major so maybe I should go for an early run again.

It's Friday so no one is out other than the sports teams of course. I try to keep clear of any footballer or the football field for that matter. Jesus imagine seeing him again. After yesterday. He probably thinks I'm so weird and rude because I ignored his girlfriend when she spoke to me. Yes, she was also rude but I didn't need to stoop to her level and be a bitch.

I just didn't know what to do.

You know what? I need to forget about it. This university is huge and I doubt I'll bump into either of them again.

I ended up running for two hours to clear my head. Once it hit 8 o'clock, I decided to check out the sport teams that are available to join considering it's just the beginning of the first semester.

I head towards to sign up sheets in the sports department building and my eyes immediately catch the words 'Girls Volleyball Team.' I use to play in high school and according to my coach, I should've kept at it but I lost interest near the middle of senior year. My interest in it has grown since then. Maybe I should sign up?

I grab the board and scribble down my name. Tryouts are in a week. As stated on the board it's a few hours before the welcome back to football season game.

It would be good to join a group and make more friends. Mature girls that actually try to play the game unlike high school where the girls at my school didn't give a shit if we won or not.

I'm still looking at the other sports boards when I see a group of footballers make their way back from the field and considering the sports board that I'm looking at is conveniently placed on the wall between both the guys and girl's locker change rooms, they make their way near me to head to the showers.

I have great luck. Let's hope they don't pay attention to me.

I study the activities on the board and try my hardest to ignore them as they pass me. Most of them are in their own world, talking to each other and laughing.

I go to turn away from the board but hit into a large chest. Damn what is it with me and hitting into people. I need to stop and try not to be so clumsy.
