"Hello people!!!!!!!" Yeojin yelled into a microphone, causing the other girls' to cover their ears immediately. Haseul huffed and snatched the microphone from Yeojin's hand.
"Tell me again why do we need a microphone? We're just gonna wake the whole dorm up!" Haseul sighed as she turned the microphone off.
It was a Saturday night, the girls Haseul, Yeojin, Jinsoul and Jungeun decided to have a sleepover at Jinsoul's and Jungeun's dorm. Since they won't be enough beds for them to share, Haseul and Yeojin brought their own sleeping bags.
"Did you brought any snacks?" Jinsoul asked as she took out 2 bottles of coke and a big bag of barbecue potato chips.
"I did. I brought pistachios." Haseul said excitedly, earning a weird look from Jungeun.
"I'm starting to think that you're possessed by a spirit of a 50 year old woman." Jungeun laughed awkwardly as Haseul rolled her eyes at her.
"Pistachios are healthy ok." Haseul huffed as she took a bite of her pistachios.
"Anyway, I bought this small projector that connects to a laptop. This way, we can watch movies in a bigger screen." Yeojin smiled proudly, holding a small green box that had legs of a frog stuck unto it.
"And it looks like a frog?" Jinsoul laughed as she took a look at it.
"Yup. Thats just my favourite part about this thing." Yeojin giggled. "So what movie Jungeun? Is is gonna be romance? Sci-fi or..." Yeojin was cut off when Jungeun replied.
"Horror." Jungeun smirked, earning serious looks from the other girls.
"But you don't like horror." Yeojin said as she raised an eyebrow.
"Well, I wanted to watch this movie because it seems interesting." Jungeun said confidently as she showed the girls a preview of the movie.
"That looks lame, but I'm down." Haseul agreed as she opened another bag of pistachios.
Truth to be told, the movie was pretty boring. Junguen was really bad at choosing movies. Haseul was already snoring and Yeojin was half asleep, trying to focus on the movie for the sake of Jungeun, but failed.
"I knew this movie was going to be boring." Jungeun sighed as she looked at Haseul and Yeojin snoozing away on Jinsoul's bed.
"I can't believe they slept through a horror movie." Jinsoul muttered, a bit taken aback by the horrifying creature from the movie. "That was really scary. To be honest." Jinsoul said she slowly stood up.
"Nope, I've seen worst." Jungeun chuckled softly. Jinsoul smiled awkwardly and paused when realization came to her. Haseul and Yeojin were sleeping on her bed. Oh for christ's sake, Haseul. Was this intentional? Jinsoul pondered.
"It's okay." Jungeun stammered when she realised that Jinsoul was figuring on how to sleep without her bed tonight. "You can take my bed. I'll sleep on the floor, I'll just use Haseul's sleeping bag." Jungeun offered as she took out Haseul's sleeping bag.
"No. I'll take the floor and you can take your bed. I mean, it's your bed anyway." Jinsoul chuckled awkwardly.
"No, you should take my bed, I'm not a light sleeper anyway." Jungeun insisted.
"How bout we just share this bed? I mean Yeojin and Haseul can fit in my bed, so why can't we?" Jinsoul insisted, earning a flustered Jungeun.
"Uh, sure I guess." Jungeun agreed as she avoided Jinsoul's gaze.
The two settled into a single sized bed after cleaning up. Honestly, it was awkward because they never slept in the same bed before. Especially, Jungeun. She has never shared a bed with anyone before, not even Yeojin. It's because she liked her space, but with Jinsoul, I think she doesn't mind anymore.
"I'm sorry if this is awkward." Jinsoul chuckled softly as she lied face to face with Jungeun. Jungeun being the panic gay she is, avoided her gaze once again.
"Yeah, it's because we never shared a bed before." Jungeun tried to shake it off and laughed.
"Well, I bet you're already sleepy. It's past your bed time. Good night Jungeun, I'll see you in the morning." Jinsoul smiled sweetly and turned her left side, making her back face Jungeun.
"Good night, Jinsoul." Jungeun replied as she stared at the ceiling. Jungeun didn't feel the slightest bit of tired that night. She didn't know why, it was probably from the coke she drank hours ago.
Slowly, the time went by, and Jinsoul was asleep like a baby. Unexpectedly, Jinsoul turned to Jungeun's side, making her face inches from Jungeun's. Her soft snores made Jungeun giggled as she found it cute.
Jungeun studied every single one of Jinsoul's features. She realized her forehead scar was even clearer under the dimmed light. She still found it amazing though, how someone actually has the same scar as her. And that some had to be Jinsoul. The girl that she's starting to have feelings for.
Jungeun's POV
Sleeping next to Jinsoul was the hardest thing Jungeun has ever done. She couldn't sleep a wink. It's not because of the little space or the soft snores. It's because of Jinsoul. She's literally the definition of perfect.
Her features looked like they were carved by some art geek god up there. She is perfect. Perfect perfect perfect. The only words that repeated in Jungeun's mind.
I'm not even kidding, I'm starting to fall for this girl harder and harder everyday. Still, I wouldn't regret it.
Just as Jungeun was about to sleep, her phone buzzed multiple times. Slowly, she got up and took her phone, trying to read the messages she received under the dimmed light.
Come home and clean this mess.
Or I will make you drop out of your ridiculous school.
Jungeun's stomach dropped when she realized those were her father's texts. She sighed and rubbed her temples. He's not in the right mind. He's drunk as fuck. Jungeun pondered and slowly stood up.
Jungeun took her car keys and her coat and slowly went out the door not wanting to wake up the other girls. She left a note for Jinsoul, just in case they wonder where she's off to. Even if Jungeun wanted to abandon her father so bad, she doesn't have the heart to do that. She still loves her as her father even if he did tons of things that Jungeun didn't deserve.
