Session #13 - A Miracle's Worth

It was a wide room with a man sits behind a desk with a white mask captain stands in front of him.

???: "So, he's back from death?"

White Mask Captain: "It looks like it, sir. He just wiped down the Budapest front HQ. The survivor saw him butchered the captain and the other grunts that guard the place."

???: "Summon David, Solomon, and Asa here, tell them that I have special job for them."

White Mask Captain: "Yes sir!"

The White Mask captain salutes that man and leaves the room.

???: "So, you decided to face me again, Josiah?"

Hereford HQ Cafeteria, 0800 hrs

Usual morning at the cafeteria, this morning the menu are roasted ham, creamed beef, french toast with butter and maple syrup, oatmeal, and assortment of drink (coffee, tea, orange juice, etc). The operators and a bunch of recruits eating and talking to each other. But some of them are glued to their respective PDAs, phones, tabs, and everything that can play a video. They're watching the footage of Omen's lone wolf mission in Budapest.

Hibana: "So, he made it?"

Ela: "Made it? He fucking slaughtered the entire camp!"

Ying: "Called it. I knew there's something unusual with him since the Newcastle mission."

Ela: "About he freaking cut your Candela into half before it detonated right?"

Ying: "You're not wrong."

Hibana: "So, how about you Liza?"

Ash: "How about me?"

Hibana: "He successfully executed the mission, will you give him a chance? You know... Giving him your trust?"

Ash: "Maybe I'll give it a try, but something about him tied to the White Masks are still bugging me tho."

The operators sighed.

Ying: "Riiight. Hey, how about her?"

Ela: "Who?"

Ying pointed to where Caveira and Capitão sit together, eating their breakfast.

Hibana: "Maybe one of us wanna ask her straight?"

Ash: "Nope, not happening."

Ela: "Time will tell."

Ash: "Right, speak of the devil. Where is he?"

Ela: "Harry summoned him right after he landed after the mission. Maybe he's still in Harry's room."

The operators continue their doing, chatting and enjoying their breakfast.

Harry: *activates his discussion log* "You executed the mission well, you done more than I asked."

Omen: "What do you mean?"

Harry: "Your main objective is to neutralize their captain, their commanding officer. But still you 'cleaned' the base. I believe with your abilities you could pull it off without sounding the alarm and just killed the captain."

Omen: "So you're just saying that we still value those White Masks grunts' life? That they're just unnecessary sacrifice for the sake of the mission?"
