Leaving

When she got to carina she stayed in the car for a few minutes and wondered whether she should really go into the house or whether she should rather drive home.

After her girlfriend cheated on her a few years ago she started hooking up and having a lot of 'drinks' with women and if Carina meant it just how the other women meant it she is the first one after almost a year.

She actually doesn't feel like hooking up with Carina but she'd love to drink and just talk a little with her.

A few minutes later she walked over, knocking on the door. Carina didn't let her wait long.

Since Maya knew this house pretty well she acted pretty cool knowing where to put her jacket and shoes. She walked over to the living room. The lights were dimmed and some candles were lit.. it had a pretty romantic atmosphere.

When Carina noticed Maya looking around at the candles she said "I like it this way when I am relaxing but I can light up some more light if it bothers you."

Maya looked over to her "No. You're right it's pretty relaxing and calming and this smell of lavender works pretty good."

Carina nodded "red wine or something harder for you ?" Maya wanted to start with some red wine to enjoy the time.

Carina joined her handing Maya a Glass of red wine. Those sentences from the fight earlier were still swirling around Maya's head.

„So are you going to leave?" one second later she apologized „I am sorry Adriana was so loud that we could hear her.. wasn't my intention."

Carina smiled. „Don't worry about that and yes I will probably leave .. I planned to leave one or two days before Christmas so I can enjoy a little more time with Ri but I guess I messed it up. Maybe I leave earlier."

„I don't know what it is that made you kinda hate all this Christmas stuff but I am sure she was just hurt that moment.. you would leave her a second time maybe that's why she reacted the way she did."

Carina nodded and when she noticed that she was about to get sad again she changed the subject.
„What is it that makes you love Christmas this much?" she asked.

„It's the kindness of people. It's the time of love, the time of giving and receiving and I am not talking about the presents but more of the happiness and love. We get to see and realize little things we haven't before. Miracles happen. It just makes me happy." while answering Carina's question she had a big smile on her face. Christmas really just made her happy. Being grateful for every little moment being alive.

And again not the best question to ask in her situation. Her eyes got teary and she tried to hide it. But Maya's blue eyes don't miss anything.
„You're good?" she asked. Carina nodded taking another sip of her wine.

The more they drunk the more Carina wanted to enjoy exchanging breaths with the blonde. As time passed both Maya and Carina relaxed more and more. Carina felt that it was the right moment she slowly got closer to Maya, putting hers and Maya's wine on the table. She made her way to Maya's lap, she started running through the beautiful blonde hair.

It didn't feel right for Maya because she knew that Carina would leave and with her it wasn't like with the other women. It was different she hadn't felt this way for a few years now. She knew exactly that she couldn't let go of Carina if she would cross the lines tonight but still her hand wandered up to Carina's waist. Feeling Carina's thumbs on her face felt good.

„Don't think about it Capt. we both know what we want. I want to cross those lines with you." Carina whispered into her ear giving her a soft kiss. Looking at those beautiful Italian lips Maya couldn't stand it longer.. she grabbed Carina's face pulling her closer and then she kissed her gently.
