I don't even know how describe what happens next. Sweet Aphrodite I shan't believe my senses, alas my eyes saw what they saw and my heart is still frozen in fright. This whole time I have been procrastinating writing this, but well, here goes nothing:

I was woken up by a gunshot, we all were, everyone except McArthur, who had fired the shot. We stormed outside, in our nightgowns, only to find a strange scene before us. Everything was bathed in a soft blue glow that had slowly seemed to fade, though some seemed to still emanate from McArthurs room. I ran over to the figure that was shot. It seemed there was yet another bloodied bed sheet. I pulled it away, and my eyes were nearly blinded by blue brightness .Underneath appeared the very bloodied and hurt form of Maximillian.

I yelled for the Doctor and her and Dr.Peanut arrived from the other side of the hallway. They stormed to Maxs side, pushing me aside. Whilst I was distracted, a fight has broken out between The Earl who wanted to shoot the poor soul, and the detective, who defended him. They resolved the fight swiftly, but there was still bad energy crackling in the air. Not only that, but also a voice .Or rather a laugh. I don't know who it was, but the voice was reverberating from everywhere.

McArson and I decided to check out McArthurs room, the chandeliers flames were glowing in bright blue light. I caught a movement outside the window, another of those dark figures with a bird mask. I quickly pointed it out to the detective, who didn't seem to believe his eyes. He yelled at the creature, but it only stared, red eyes disappearing into the darkness of the hedge maze. We, luckily, decided not to follow.

We tried showing it to Earl Connor, but he seemingly couldn't see it. I proposed we all calm down and lay ourselves to rest. The others may be doctors, but I know that there is barely a problem that a good amount of sleep can't solve!I have written down my thoughts here immediately, and I can still hear the detective in the room next to me scribbling furiously. I hope he rests soon.

Well, my dear Aphrodite. I am at a loss. I don't know what happened today, and I don't know what will happen tomorrow. I hope we will finally be allowed to meet Mr.Arthus and gain some clarity as to what he requires from us. Sweet dreams my dear!

With Love,

Leonard Valentine D'Angelo
