I floated around space for quite a while. Saw countless stars and planets before I found earth. There, I hid. Unpure humans must not see me. It's interesting, watching robots help humans. They do tasks that the flesh bodies cannot out of fear for mistress death.

The worker robots...inspire me. They seem to like their occupations so much. I've heard much about a war that once separated humans. Countless robots with potential were misused, destroyed by humanity's foolishness. I could not bring myself to grant free will to them, by fear of being the cause for some of their destruction.

I have stumbled upon an interesting human, in the years I've hid on earth. A doctor of sort, an inventor and a genius in robotics. A heart full of pure light, and that cares for his creations. He has plans for a brighter future, a future in which robots help humans more. A future sounding promising. That doctor seems to have a friend, a man not as good as himself. A heart darkened by jealousy, anger...vengeance. He makes me want to protect the good doctor.

And that's what I'll do, with a little prize.

Rock was on his way back to the lab from the grocery store. He was walking with a little bounce in his steps, excited to help his dad. He suddenly stopped when he spotted a glowing form in front of him. The form was humanoid, in a way, but translucent. He rubbed his eyes to make sure his captors were seeing right, and sure enough this...person floated in front of him.

"Hello, young one."

Her voice had something of reassuring as she spoke.

"H-Hello, what's your name?"

She looked down for a moment, then looked up at him and tilted her head.

"I do not remember. Perhaps you can call me Star for now."

He nodded and slightly relaxed.

"I'm Rock, nice to meet you." He smiled

She bowed her head.

"There is a reason I have come to you, young one." Star started

He tilted his head and she looked back up at him as her form shrunk to form a small floating flaming sphere.

"I require help."

He walked closer and she floated in her spot, reddish lemon-shaped eyes staring at him.

"What do you need help with, miss?"

"Perhaps your father could help, as I need a body. A robotic body to hold what remains of my previous one." She explained

"You know my dad?" Rock questioned

The sphere nodded.

"How could I not? He is quite popular, and I have been keeping my eyes on the scientific community to perhaps find a talent that would suffice to help me." She answered

Rock seemed convinced and he smiled at her.

"I'm sure he won't mind helping you. And Dr Wily might even accept to help."

Star shook her head.

"I may trust your father, but I do not trust his friend. I apologize if I may sound too picky, but I do not want Dr Wily tempering with my body if your father agrees to help me."

He nodded at her conditions.

"Well, dad will gladly help you, and my sister and I too, if you don't mind."

"Robots are worth my trust and respect, humans can be a more...delicate matter." She hummed

Rock started walking towards the lab and Star floated after him.

"Will Dr Wily be there?" She asked

The boy nodded and watched as she disappeared in the paper bag he held.

"I do not wish to be seen by him."

"Don't worry, I think that they'll be done for today soon enough."

Star hummed to answer and waited.

As mentioned by Rock, the doctors were done soon after his arrival, and Wily left after saluting his friend. The boy glanced at where Star was hiding then called out to his dad.

"D-Dad, today, on my way back, I met someone who needs your help." He started

The Dr turned to his son with a raised eyebrow.

"Have you brought them here?"

Rock nodded and he glanced back to see Star floating out of her hiding spot. She flew up to Rock and perched on his head.

"Greetings, Dr. You may call me Star."

The adult looked at her with shock. Once his shock blew over he watched as Roll poked Star's form. The small spirit didn't budge, simply glancing with a soft gaze at the girl.

"What would you need help with?" He asked

The spirit turned back to him.

"In a series of unfortunate events outside of your solar system, I've been rendered to this soul form. After observing the different potential scientists during a gathering of sort, I've deemed you able enough to help me by fabricating a new body" She explained

He was stunned for a moment, an alien was facing him after all. After pondering over it for a while, he asked a few more questions, and he quickly learned that Star had no ill intentions. He agreed to her terms and she agreed to let him finish his work on the robot masters first.

When time for her body to be given to her arrived, she did bounce around quite a bit, even with her serious voice. The Lights had gotten to know Star enough to know that she was a person with a motherly aura and voice. She was very caring and incredibly smart. She wasn't one to display emotions but her aura strongly spoke for her. She was calm, collected and patient.

I flexed my fingers, looked down at my legs and moved my toes, claws appearing for a few seconds before disappearing. My arm switched between tools and the two cables flowing out of my bag came into my view. I looked up at Thomas' smiling face, while Rock and Roll looked at me in awe.

"Greetings, my name is Star, and my body was built for precious stone mining on my demand, ready for duty."

Heya everyone who sees this. I've been pondering for a while if I should publish this or not. But after having a friend's input on it, and a small vote, I bring to you a fanfic of the fandom I'm currently in. I may have not grown up with the games, but ive watched playthroughs and read the archie comics. The latter inspired this story by a lot.

Don't hesitate to comment about my spelling, or any missing detail you'd need to understand the story. As long as you're being nice then I'll answer. ^v^
