I stood beside the robot masters with a straight face as the curtain flowed open to reveal us to the eyes of all.
To thank Thomas for his help, and to do something that has interested me greatly during my years on earth, I had decided to ask for a body specialized for the mining of precious stones. Using my remaining knowledge in mechanics from ym home, I helped him create a tool able to concentrate sound into supersonic waves.
My eyes washed over all those humans that curiosity pushed towards this presentation. Thomas named each of us robot masters one by one, speaking of our destined purpose. As decided before, he did not call me Star, instead opting for Dragon woman I had chosen as a reference to my design.
Soon enough, the curtain closed and he let out a sigh of relief. I walked over to him and rubbed his shoulders.
"Is public speaking so much of a hassle? You seemed in your element Thomas."
He chuckled and thanked me before we headed home with the robot masters in tow. They seemed to be already quite fond of me.
When we arrived, I went in the same room as the robot masters to rest, letting my body go offline. I felt a painful shock run through me, jolting me awake. I looked around in alarm to find the robot masters beside Wily as he grinned at me.
"Master."
That is not my voice, what is happening, what did you do?! He seemed slightly startled by the different voice but he grinned nonetheless and fled with my body obeying him.
'No! This is wrong! No! Thomas! Rock! Roll! Anyone!'
My voice did not pierce through.
Before I knew it, I was wrecking havoc in town, destroying everything with horribly painful screeches of voice. I had enough control to keep my lips from stetching into sadistic grimaces. The more this horror scene played out, the more I seemed to gain control back over my own body. Slowly, yes, but progressing at a pleasant pace.
I situated myself in an abandoned mine when Rock arrived in a blue armour.
"Look at that armour you got yourself, kid. Wouldn't have expected any less from Tommy."
I grimaced at my own speech, but it hinted Rock to knowing that I wasn't the one in control.
"Star, I don't want to fight you."
"Then fu-hmpf!"
I had enough control to slap a hand on my mouth.
"Rock, I need you to defeat me. Once weak enough, I will be able to control my body again." I managed to yell out
My body started moving again and I tried with difficulty to keep it reined back as to not hurt Rock. Soon enough, he managed to defeat me and I rested on my hands and knees in front of him. A black liquid escaped from my lips, and I knew that the control was fully gone. I sighed and stood up.
"I apologize for my previous behavior. It would seem Wily has managed to program my body enough for it to have a personality I was frankly not fond of."
He smiled at me.
"Will you help me defeat Wily?" He asked
I chuckled.
"Why wouldn't I? He dared attack my family after all."
He cheered and hugged me before guiding me towards our destination. A castle with a skull on it...?
"Such disgusting taste in architecture." I grimaced
Rock nodded in agreement.
"I hope you can still fight, because the defenses are online and ready for us."
I nodded and the two plugs connected to my arms.
"I take it you battled me last?"
"Dad figured the control couldn't be stable with your special feature. He said that it would be better to give you time to try regaining control. It worked apparently."
I hummed and jumped on one of the big enemies. I aimed and shot a vibration straight at it, exploding it. I ran alongside my brother as we traveled through the castle. Soon, the yellow devil faced us.
"Aim for its eye, its weak point."
Rock nodded, and a well aimed charged shot, defeated the monster. A teleport chamber stood at the end of the room.
"Be warned, young one, anything could wait for you on the other side."
He looked at me.
"Are you not coming with?"
"The chamber cannot be used twice, and I wouldn't fit in it. I will take the long way to reach you." I explained
He hesitated but nodded and used the chamber. The chamber deactivated soon after his disappearance and I let out a sigh. I started running towards where I could feel violent vibrations. I climbed a pillar and my tool arm switched to a lazer cutter. I drew a clean circle in the ceiling and climbed out to find the robot masters fighting each other.
"It would seem that Rock has already gotten through to them." I whispered
I lifted my body out of the hole and dusted myself. I stood straight and looked at the mess they had been going on about. I sighed, I knew I would need to step in, but I hate doing this.
"Robot masters, behave for once!" I scolded
They froze and quickly lined up. I crossed my arms.
"You are the peek of robotics, act like it." I sighed
"Sorry Star." They apologized
I hummed and started walking.
"Let us help our friend at once, you'll be back to your first function once we're done." I assured
They nodded and we headed to Rock's current location. As we got close, we saw a copy of Rock looking up. I stopped while the robot masters leaped forward to attack all at once the robot. I walked out into view, and Rock rushed to me, hugging me. I started feeling violent vibrations coming from the wall directly across from us. I had barely the time to push Rock to the side before the previously mentioned wall exploded.
