The run up to Christmas is looking gloom for both Aiden Roxwell and Isabella Crane, can a sudden entanglement of their fates help them get rid of their Christmas Blues?

A vein in Aiden Roxwell's head was near explosion as he packed up his office that evening, he couldn't believe that the paper he had given ten years of his life to was putting him on unpaid leave while they investigated him for sexual harassment. He could not comprehend the heinous allegations against him, since his wife died six years ago while giving birth to his daughter Carly, no woman had caught his eyes, not even the she-devil that raised the claims against him.
He slammed his fist on the table and let every swear word he could think of escape his lips, he didn't even care that he was put on un-paid leave as he had made enough money in his life time to retire on and the estate he had inherited from his parents helped, it was the reputation that he had worked so hard to build since he left college that he was more worried about.
He tried to think about the positives that could come out of the situation, at least he would be able to spend Christmas this year with his daughter; the poor girl probably did not know what her father really looked like. It wasn't his intention to be hundreds of miles away from his daughter, it just made more sense for her to stay with his younger brother Austin who could spend more time at their family home due to the nature of his work and of course the expensive and experienced live in Nanny Mrs Woods.
The loud vibration of the phone in Aiden's pocket quickly pulled him out of his thoughts, he looked at the caller ID that read 'Annoying Brother' and answered the call.
"What do you want?" He growled, Aiden was usually not this irritable, but today had pushed him over the edge.
"Hello to you too big brother." Austin replied feeling slightly annoyed, he however decided to put his feelings in check because he knew that the words that were about to leave his mouth next would only upset his brother more.
"Mrs Woods has put in her resignation......Her daughter is giving birth, and she wants to be there for her." He said as calmly as possible.
Despite the calmness in his brother's tone, the vein that was near explosion on Aiden's head bursted causing him to scream like a mad man, why was today so painfully hard? He thought to himself, why couldn't the day just end with the atrocious news of his dismissal.
"Stop being such a drama queen." Austin casually remarked "Uncle and I have already started looking for a temporary nanny to fill in till the end of the year and a permanent one to start in January."
"Why can't we just hire a permanent one now?" Aiden questioned trying to make sense of what his younger brother told him.
"Because Mrs Woods is leaving next week." Austin replied.
Aiden was so close to demanding that the nanny served her full two months notice period, but he knew that Mrs Woods had worked so hard on raising his daughter that it would be inhumane to stop her leaving so the only sound he could utter was "Oh....."
"I only called you because I want you to be more present in Carly's life while these changes take place, Mrs Woods has been a maternal figure for her since she was born, I worry that without you being around, she might take Mrs Woods's departure harder."
Aiden was too embarrassed to tell his younger brother what had happened at work when he himself could not understand the injustice that was happening to him, not to mention the fact that his brother would tease him for taking the fall for something that he did not commit.
"Fine." Aiden breathed heavily into his phone. "I'll be back next week and try to take some time off till the New Year."
"I can't wait to see you big brother." Austin said feeling excited, it had been months since he last saw his older brother and though they came face to face on many issues, they were best friends and had been very close since childhood.
Aiden cut the call and looked around his office once more, "Ten good years," He mumbled underneath his breath before he continued packing up his things.
