Chapter 5
Aiden Roxwell was not too pleased with himself for finding the child stealer that was seated opposite him attractive, she wasn't his normal type per say, but there was just something about her that he could not put his finger on. Aiden was also not pleased at the way his daughter gripped onto the beautiful stranger like she had known her all her life, he knew he could not afford to have another scandal with a woman and the fact that his trousers had felt uncomfortable since he laid eyes on the woman in front of him suggested there was no possible way he could let her near him or his home.
"Isabella, why didn't you call my nephew?" Brian Roxwell interrogated.
"I.....I....Ummm...I thought you were just being nice." Isabella replied in a sweet soft voice that made Aiden Roxwell's manhood unexpectedly stiffen, he could not believe that Isabella was making him feel things he hadn't felt in years by uttering just a few words.
"What do you think of Miss Isabella being your new nanny?" Austin Roxwell asked his niece who immediately nodded and tightened her grip on Isabella.
"I am not sure hiring her is a good idea." Aiden said glaring at his brother, "She has no qualification in childcare or any prior experience, it doesn't make sense at all, and I am sure she doesn't want the job either."
"Stop being such a spoil sport." Brian Roxwell scolded, "Isabella is skilled with many instruments, she could teach Carly how to play the piano, guitar, violin and not to mention how to sing."
Carly's eyes widened at the sound of all the instruments Brian mentioned, "Really Miss Isabella? Can you play all that?"
Isabella smiled at the young girl and nodded, "Yes my dad thought me before he passed."
Carly frowned at the news of Isabella's dad, even with her limited knowledge in life, she somewhat knew how it felt to have a parent missing. "My mom died too." She replied in a low voice.
"You're mom might not be here, but she's watching over you from heaven, and she will always live on in your heart." Isabella assured the little girl.
Aiden Roxwell watched how Isabella turned the frown on his daughter's face into a smile, she might not have had any qualifications, but she definitely knew how to interact with children.
In hopes to steer the conversation away from the nanny talk, Aiden called over the waiter in the posh restaurant him, his family, and Isabella were seated so everyone could place their order.
While she cautiously ate her pasta, Isabella could not believe how handsome the two men sitting opposite her were, although they looked similar, the two men both had their distinctive features which undoubtedly attracted women to them like bees to honey. She wasn't sure what she was doing having lunch with Brian Roxwell's family, she had honestly thought Mr Roxwell offering her the nanny job was a pity gesture so she didn't entertain the idea at all, and the card was probably still sitting somewhere at the bottom of her handbag.
