-redwoods curse
_______
I had promptly ignored all of them for a week only talking to Midge, that was until Margret Booth showed up to town. Then all I cared about was the sweet revenge that bitch was gonna get. Montana made up some rule that we weren't allowed to kill her until the festival, but I swear I couldn't stand to hearMargrets annoying voice one more day. She was already throwing around lousy commands for her Halloween music fest, here at this shit hole I had to call home.

The group however I had forgiven almost as soon as Margret showed up, mostly because I couldn't stand it anymore though. I missed them. Montana and I were still rocky. She had managed to break me down and I wasn't sure if I could forgive her tactless actions. On October 28th Benjamin Richter showed up to town. His arrival created as much craze as Margrets did, if not more. While Margret murdered Chet and I, Jingles had tortured some of the others and they did not take it lightly.

Mr jingles was squirming on the soft dirt, his body tied together with ropes. Keith and Larry, the two townies had found him in the woods and were desperate for a kill. I stood next to Xavier his arm wrapped around my shoulder. My lilac dress blew softly in the wind.

"You left this place, and to willingly come back, well that makes you even more deranged then we thought." Montana said walking around Benjamin, her face screwed up in slight anger.

"He gave me no choice. You need to let me go. I came back here to kill Richard Ramirez." Jingles insisted. Pain was evident in his voice.

"But he's already dead, I saw you murder him." Montana hissed. She had taken control of this whole situation. I wanted to roll my eyes and fight back at her power hungry stature but I fought against it, knowing nothing helpful would come of it.

"Ramirez has the devil on his side, and he's on his way back here now." Ben explained to all of us.

"Who gives a shit." Ray piped up. "This mother fucker cut off my head, he needs to answer for that. Ray snarled angrily getting closer to the panicked man.

"Ray!" Montana screamed, "don't make me gut you again." Ray slowly backed away from Ben, Montana's glare heavily eyeing him.

"I don't understand you're all ghosts..." Benjamin Richter said softly peering up at all of us.

"Are you brain dead?" Xavier burst out, "you killed half of us here remember?" The man just stared at us all, not knowing what to say. "You and Margret are both psychos and we got caught in your crossfire." Xavier explained to him, now crossing his arms. I felt a little sad when his warmth was removed from my shoulder.

"Nothing makes sense." I added.

"We spent the first few months after we died sorta just wandering around feelings confused and angry. Time doesn't really exist for us here so years went by like minutes." Xavier told the man. I sat down atop the picnic table, while Xavier stayed standing on top, his arms reaching up to grab a low hanging tree branch.

"What does being a ghost feel like?" Benjamin asked, almost in awe. I placed my chin on my hand letting out a soft huff, my gold ring twinkling in the dots of sunlight. I could tell Xavier was admiring me from his place above. I felt his eyes digging into my back, but a comfortable feeling not like daggers.

"It's actually not that bad." Montana admitted, I had to agree with her, the only part I hated was Redwood. "There's a constant feeling of emptiness and longing, but that's pretty much how I felt when I was alive so." Montana shrugged. I chuckled dryly, covering it up quickly with a cough. Montana shot me quick glare. I just poked my tongue out at her. Chet laughed at the two of us.

"Do you feel pain?" Ben asked.

"Yes... and fear." Ray answered quietly. I swallowed the smile that was on my face.

"But we can feel pleasure too." Montana said wiggling her eyebrows. My stomach churned slightly remembering when her and Xavier had sex.

"As you know killing people is totally tubular." Xavier said, a smirk in his voice. I resisted the urge to laugh. Killing was definitely not my thing.

"Especially when there's no consequences." Montana said proudly.

"Which is why we're gonna kill every motherfucker who steps foot in here for Margrets festival." Xavier explained, jumpin down from the table to get closer to jingles. Again this was not my plan nor did I think it was a good one. Sure I wanted to get out of here but killing, to me anyways wasn't the answer.

"That's insane." Richter told him. Moving away from Ben, Xavier stepped foot on the table once again. "Why would you do that?!"

"So we can get the hell out of here." Montana angrily told him. "I mean two dead bodies recently got this place some press, an entire music festival viciously slaughtered, well that'll draw every paranormal PI and ghost buster wanna be from across the globe and one of ems bound to beat whatever's got us kept here. This fucking curse."

"Don't you understand, you're away from the horrors of the world." I chuckled slightly at Benjamin's words.

"Not really, you think we're alone in these woods?" Chet told him before explaining the lady in white.

"Know one knows who she is or why she hates us so much." Xavier grumbled.

"I do." My ears perked up at those words. I watched Benjamin Richter. "She's my mother." Chet laughed slightly but I could see it in Richters eyes, he was dead serious. The man explained to us how Camp Redwood used to be Camp Golden Star and the first massacre that his mother had committed after his brother died. When he was finished I blinked unsure what to make of it. "Camp Golden Star was shut down but 10 years later Camp Redwood opened. They may have changed the name but they couldn't erase the evil. Her blood poured into this ground with her pain and her rage maybe that's why your all still stuck here. It's definitely why she keeps going after you she hates counselors." My was solemn much like everyone else's. "The only person she ever loved was my brother." He swallowed with his last sentence. A tear rolled down my cheek, I couldn't imagine what it was like to never be loved. "Do you know where my mother is now?"

"Xavier will take you." Montana said crying a little. I went to say something but Xavier beat me to it.

"Why me?" He asked, his hip popped and his hands spread out in a questioning position. "Send Chet." Xavier snorted, a smile on his face.

"I'm never going back to that place." Chet insisted. Xavier rolled his eyes.

"Fine, I'll take you." Xavier sighed, hopping down from the table. I looked him and mouthed a be careful before he untied jingles and headed off.
