You were walking through the streets of the city, on your way to the Sheep headquarters, but mostly looking for your favorite red-haired person. "(y/nnnnn)!" you perked up and a grin settled on your face as you looked around for the owner of the voice. It wasn't long until you saw his bouncing form and his blue eyes alight with excitement as he rushed up to you, "I heard you got an ability!" You weren't surprised that he heard about it before you got a chance to tell him since you weren't often around the Sheep base. Your parents weren't too fond of you wandering around the streets unattended, so every moment with the Sheep was a lie to your parents.
Your response was embarrassed and you rubbed at your hair, "kind of? I don't really know how to use it." The two of you were walking and talking as you headed towards your favorite hangout spot by the coast. It wasn't really picturesque. Rocks and trash littered the area, and there wasn't sand to wade in, but it was fun to watch the sunset or to be in a place away from others.
"Can you show me?" he continued to bounce around excitedly around you and you felt bad for having to dampen his good mood. "Shin said you could teleport!"
"I don't know how to," you responded quietly, looking at your dirtied shoes to avoid seeing the crestfallen look cross his face.
"Oh," there was a pause of silence before he grabbed your hand to get your attention, which worked as you looked away from your shoes to meet his happy face. "That's okay! I thought we could use it to pull a prank on Shin, but we can do it regardless!"
You couldn't help the gasp of shock, "he'd totally know it's us though!" and while it wasn't often you could hang out with Chuuya, most of the time it was the two of you playing pranks on the poor older members of the Sheep. Mostly Shin.
"He always knows it's us," Chuuya groaned and you had to nod in agreement. Half of the time he'd notice the two of you coming to prank him, which effectively stopped the prank. The other half of the time he'd figure it out in half a second and start chasing the two of you around the territory (sometimes Kana would watch with a disappointed frown on her face, especially when you and Chuuya made a mess around the civilians living in the area). "At least we'd be able to teleport away."
"Let me try!" you liked the idea of being able to teleport away, so you screwed your eyes shut and thought of the magic mirror. The decorated frame, the smooth sheen of the mirror, the soft glow-
"You look constipated." Your concentration was shattered as you let out an offended screech and slapped the orangette who looked only somewhat apologetic.
You let out a huff as you crossed your arms, "you try it then."
Chuuya wasn't thrown off by your retort, "I don't have an ability" was his deadpanned response.
"Aiyahh," you slapped a hand to your face before sitting down on a nearby crate, "what prank did you want to play?" you pouted as you pulled your knees up to your chest, "I need something funny."
His face lit up again and he dug around in his pockets. "So I dug up some worms," he explained as he opened his fist to show a couple pink worms wriggling around in his hand.
You let out a screech that was a mix of horrified, disgusted, and startled, "this entire time you had worms in your pockets?" you shouted incredulously at the boy across from you who was looking a little too smug.
"Yes."
You couldn't help but facepalm, but there was a small grin working its way up your face, he was your best friend for a reason. "So what's the plan?" you asked as you got down from your crate to inspect the worms in his hand, "are these it?"
"No," he pulled a face as he focused on what were probably damp pockets, "there's a few more in there."
"We could throw them at him," your voice was eager and your eyes were alight as you listed ideas of what you could do to your poor victim, "drop it on his head, put them in his hair,"
Chuuya was quick to interrupt your train of thought with a dubious look, "you think we could get close enough to put them in his hair?"
"Okay, not put them in his hair." You continued with the same tone as before, "put them in his drink." Chuuya gagged at your last comment and you couldn't help but agree. The thought of worms in your water bottle made you a little queasy.
"If he's at the base, we can climb up the fire escape to drop them on him!"
You nodded excitedly, his comment about your constipated look effectively forgotten, "what are you waiting for? Let's go!" Chuuya hastily shoved his worms back into his pockets and the two of you ran through the Sheep territory. Even though it was part of the city, it had become your playground. People bustling around and going about their business were unaffected by the two kids running through the streets, as it was normal by this point, and Chuuya was definitely known in the Sheep territory since he was always around.
The two of you slowed your running as you approached the base, careful to not make a sound as you saw the fabric covering the opening come into view. You pointed at yourself to tell Chuuya you'd check, and he nodded, stopping his movements to let you have full reign. Quietly, you inched closer and closer to the opening and peered through the cracks to see if anyone was inside. To your delight, Shin was there on his phone, looking oblivious to the world around him. You turned back to Chuuya with a grin on your face and a thumbs up. His face lit up with excitement and the two of you made your way to the building forming one of the walls of the Sheep headquarters.
It was an old apartment, and while still habited, it was mostly filled with older people who didn't bother with the shenanigans happening in the back. Not that it was obvious. The headquarters was nestled on the other side of the front door. As quietly as you could, you and Chuuya stepped up the fire escape. Wincing when there was a clang of metal shifting or the dull thump of a step that was a little too heavy.
With bated breath, the two of you made it onto the roof, and quietly made it over to the side where Shin was sitting a few stories below. To both of your delight, he was in the same spot as you last saw him, in perfect range of a falling worm.
"The only option is to do all of them at once, right?" you whispered to Chuuya as the two of you crouched down by the wall on the roof. He nodded as he began emptying his pockets of worms into your open hands. Once he was successfully de-wormified, you gave him half of the worms in your hand and the two of you peered over the wall. Carefully aligning yourselves to give Shin maximum wormfall.
"On three," Chuuya whispered and you could tell that your face mirrored the wide grin that Chuuya had, "one, two, three." The two of you uncupped your hands and a small shower of worms came down on the unsuspecting black haired male before.
