Clarke's POV

"NO! BUTTERFLY!" Marie shouts, picking her bow up stepping out of cover, the arrows stopped a few moments ago.

Derek comes up behind Lexa and I with the rest of our friends as we watch the rest of the lost boys come out of the woods with their weapons ready.

Derek whispers "come on, I'm taking you back to camp, we gotta go" we all look at him like He was crazy, He is if he is thinks we're standing back.

Before we could protest, he speaks up again, "listen! Nia doesn't know we came to you, she doesn't know your here this is how Y/n and Luke wants it to be so they can make a better plan, so please follow me" I look over at lexa who has an arrow sticking out of her shoulder as she groans quietly in pain.

I look over at derek, "fine, guys let's go" Raven, Lexa and O looks at me like I'm crazy, before I let them protest I speak up, "I know you think this is stupid, but we have to go! We can't make it harder on Y/n and Luke, they have enough going on already." they hesitate to nod, soon as they do we start heading off to camp.

Hours later
At camp

Clarke's POV

It's been about 3 hours? since we've gotten back from the woods, Lexa is in recovery and everyone is devastated from what happened, I'm so worried about Y/n and the other lost boys.

I'm brought out of my thoughts once lexa walks up to me, she comes down to my level since I'm sitting and looks at me, her soft eyes study me, she hugs me tightly.

We hug for a moment til we hear running footsteps coming straight at us, we pull apart and look at the direction we hear them in, its octavia, with a worried expression.

"We have to go, some of the most lost boys are back!" Octavia yells in a rush, we out of the tent, and down to the gate.

We see the kids, Marie, and scarlett. Marie is covered in blood, looking exhausted, Derek comes from the crowd and gasp at the sight.

"T-they... they took them" she stutters, I felt rage, they have lexa's and I's puppy. We aren't letting this go

More hours pass
Camp
Clarke's POV

We took Marie and the others who got back into medical to get cleaned up and see if any of them is hurt, other then a few cuts. They're fine.

We're getting ready to go get Y/n and the others back, we planned a small group who's going.

Raven, bellamy, derek, marie, anya, lexa, O, indra, Lincoln, luna and I. Most of us is curious on seeing the lost boys fight. Marie is pushing herself but too stubborn to listen, she's amazing at a sword and even better with a bow, I notice her and anya has gotten closer.

"I'm not asking this to, bring down your hopes or to, you know, be rude" Luna says, hesitating, "but now do we know their not already dead?" Marie turns around quickly with Derek, they both looked shocked and angry.

"Because lost boys are too stubborn to die!" Marie and Derek exclaims, raising their voice a little. There's a story behind that, that's easy to tell about how they acted.

"right, I'm sorry." Luna says, looking down and focuses on walking, Derek looks at Marie, looking like he's debating something.

Derek sighs, "Did..Did it happen?" He tries to whisper to Marie but we all heard it, we stop in our tracks and turn to face Marie and Derek.

Marie kept walking once she passes us, she answers Derek's question "Yeah, it did. It got so bad, butterfly was shaking. She had that look in her eye." Luna looked at lexa and I, we're frozen in our place, confused but something happened to our butterfly.

Derek sighs, and keeps walking with marie. We all jog to catch up with them, we walk in silence before Raven  speaks up. "are we gonna be able to know?"

Derek looks at marie, Marie looks back at him and sighs, "butterfly was in the pit more than any of us, even if she was badly wounded, they kept making her fight. She suffers from the memories, I mean...hell we all do, but she... She had to kill so many more people, she was forced to. They either hurt her or one of us, needing her blood for more experiments, there was this doctor, I can't remember her name. They would test on her, she has these..abilities, she can't use them alot due to the affect it has on her body."

"is this way she hides her pain and try to stay out of medical?" lexa asks, walking behind Derek and Marie. She looks confused, shocked and devastated, like the rest of us. I feel my heart breaking. My sweet look puppy.

Marie sighs and continues, "yeah, she also hates being seen as weak. She also hates being a leader, she's never been the one to lead, but no one else does it."

Derek speaks up, "she's the youngest out of us, other then the kids, before she came into the pit she was the most innocent one other then beating a man half to death, but no one can really blame her for that"

Mostly everyone nods, soon enough we make it to azgeda, marie and Derek climb the trees to get a better view, after a few mins they both come down.

"There's 3 guards at the front gate, I didn't see much at the back. We can either take the 3 guys out and hide out behind those shops or go around the back" Marie whispers, staying low looking between us.

"we could spilt up, Half of us go to the front, other half go to the back" Bellamy suggest, I don't like the idea even though it's a good one. We cover more ground, but it's never good to split up.

"Clarke, Raven Anya and will take the back, Derek go with them, Marie,  Bellamy, Luna, Indra and I will go to front and take out those guards" lexa says, I look at her like she's crazy, shaking my head, she pulls me close, kisses me and then kisses my forehead, "we'll meet again, I promise." I sigh and nod.

We split up and Raven, Anya, Derek, O and I head around the back, there's luckily no guards Here, we jump over the gate and hide behind one of the hunts.

"where could the prison be?" Raven asks whispering while looking between us, we look around for anything that looks like a Prison or where you keep someone captive.

Once we find the prison, we quickly and quietly enter. We take in our surroundings making sure it's clear, once we know it's clear, Derek whistles, getting multiple whistles back in response.

We look at him at amazement before walking towards the whistles, once reach were we heard the whistle, we see Luke, Nick, Luka, Thomas, Max, Rose, Roe, and Charlotte.

Thomas is laying down cuddling charlotte, They don't look injuried. Max is sitting beside Luke, Luke is injured, Nick is trying to help max stop the bleeding. Rose and Roe are keeping look out.

Rose whistles to get our attention, we look at her and she looks like she's staring at something, Derek follows her gaze to find keys hanging on the wall, He sneaks over and quietly and quickly grab them.

He unlocks the door and immediately runs over to luke, checking for a heartbeat, he must've found one because he sighs almost in relief and picks up Luke.

"Derek you take Max, Charlotte and Luke back to camp, we're gonna look around for Y/n." Lexa orders, Derek nods and leaves carrying Luke with Max and Charlotte behind him.

We exit the prison hunt and look around, moments of silence pass before Raven spoke up, "wait, They need Y/n for experiments right?" we looked at her and nodded, she looked at us before continuing, "The grounders have No idea how to use any medical Stuff, but the only alliance they have does..." we all thought about for a min, suddenly realization hits, and everyone's eyes go wide.

"she's at the mountain..."
