Today is the day Myrtle will die. Silver followed her everywhere from afar, she even skipped lessons for this. Her excuse was that she's mentally tired and needed a day off, the professors believed her. She couldn't let Myrtle out of sight. Silver watched how miserable Myrtle's daily life is. She's all alone, and when she's not alone, Olive and the others are there, picking on her. Olive's a pathetic excuse for a Gryffindor.

Night came, and Silver's heart was pumping out of her chest. Myrtle has went into the Ravenclaw common room hours ago, but Silver stayed outside her common room, watching, just in case she got out. Silver's eyes just wanted to shut down, but she can't.

Suddenly, she saw Olive Hornby and her gang tiptoed towards the Ravenclaw common room. What the heck are they doing here. The eagle knocker asked them a riddle, and they tried answering many times, but they got it wrong. Olive stomped on the ground whining, and Silver was about to walk up to them when one of them answered correctly and the door opened. Oh no. They entered and Silver decided to stay out and catch them after.

A few minutes later, Myrtle ran out of the room crying. Silver ran to her. "What happened??" Myrtle looked up at her and ran away. Silver needed to catch up to her, but she was pulled back by Olive Hornby. "What are you doing, Hufflepuff!?" Silver huffed and pulled her hand away, but she couldn't get far because she was thrown back by a spell. Silver groaned and stood up, but she was circled by the girls.

Myrtle.

They casted some hexes at her but she deflected it with her wand. Time is running out. "Please, I'm begging you, this is a matter of life and death!" Silver pleaded. The girls laughed at her. She felt tears at her eyes. "What are you going to do about it, crybaby!?"

Silver shook in anger.

"I'll fucking kill all of you with my bare hands."

Olive's face turned scared. And with a gesture of her wand, the girls all fell to the ground. They whimpered and screamed. Silver ran. She needed to get to Myrtle, before it's too late. She ran and ran, until she reached 2nd floor. Silver let out a sob, worried that she might be too late, but kept running. The door to the girls lavatory was shut, and Silver barged in.

There she was. Myrtle was on the ground, pale, lifeless. Silver dropped to the ground beside her. She shook her cold and stone-like body. Silver screamed into her hands. She stared at Myrtle, and backed away. In the corner she sat, only a metre away from the dead body that she failed to protect. The door opened, Tom.

He saw a dead body, of the Warren girl, and his mouth fell open. He looked around, and there she was. Silver. Silver looked at him, she inhaled. Exhaled. Again and again. She shivered and put her arms around her. "Tom." Tom stared at her, breathing heavily.

"You killed her, Tom!" she screamed. She sobbed, as loud as she can. Tom ran his fingers through his hair and loosened his tie. He didn't plan this yet. Silver yelled and bawled her eyes out. Tom sighed loudly and walked over to the shaken girl. He took a look to the dead body. He grabbed her shoulders and shook her gently.

"Silver, I'm going to need you to help me with something." Silver was having trouble breathing. Tom pulled her body up. He pat his robes searching for something and got out his diary. He sighed. Silver gripped his arms, she was hyperventilating. Tom pulled her with him to the sink.

She stopped in her tracks. "Tom, are you bringing me down there!?" Tom nodded. She shook her head. 'No, no-" He didn't listen to her and pulled her roughly. She let out a cry.

Tom hissed into the sink and it opened. Silver grabbed onto the sink beside her, but Tom growled and grasped her hand and pulled her to him. She protested, but before she knew it, they were falling down.

She screamed as loud as she could, until Tom had to shut her mouth with his hand. They landed on a pile of bones. Silver shrieked, Tom narrowed her eyes at her and put a finger to his lips.

"My Basilisk is here, you wouldn't want to end up dead too, would you?" Silver shut her mouth, a tear rolled down. Tom brushed it off her face and grabbed her wrist.

They entered the Chamber of Secrets. Silver can't think straight, she felt dizzy and just want to close her eyes. Tom kept pulling until they reached the middle of the chamber. Tom told her to look down. She can see the scaly body of the giant snake in front of her. She whimpered.

Tom opened his diary and put it on the floor. Silver gasped. "Tom, are- are you-" Tom rolled his eyes. "Yes." Tom looked at her. He's making a horcrux.

"Stay still and do what I say."

He got out his wand and gave it to her. "Point it to the diary, at all times, and no matter what you do, don't put it down." Silver gulped and looked up at him. Tom grabbed her hand that was holding his wand. "If you do, I'll kill you right on the spot." Silver shuddered.

She can't let this happen. First, she failed protecting Sophie, she also failed to save Myrtle, and now she had to help Tom make his first horcrux? "Tom, I can't." She sobbed and her lips quivered. Tom growled at her. "I can't, please, Tom, don't do it!" He took a deep breath, and grabbed his wand from her.

With a flick of his wand, he shouted, "Imperio!" Silver's body tensed, and Tom gave her back his wand. She walked backwards, and pointed the wand at the diary. She tried to fight it, but she can't do anything no matter how hard she tried. Neyda, what the fuck do I do!? Please!!

Silver, we can't do anything.

Silver felt like dying. Neyda assured her that there's still hope, that everything can still work out, but Silver can barely hear Neyda's words over Tom's hisses. He hissed something at the diary and the diary let out a light of some sort. Tom fell to the ground and screamed. The basilisk slithered around, like it was panicking that its master was in pain.

Silver shook. He hissed more words, and he laid on the dirty ground and screamed. Silver wanted to yell at him to stop, to bring her wand down, but she can't. Tom looked like he was about to die. He's just a broken and hurt boy, he was just suffering. He doesn't realize that he's making a mistake.

Tom crawled to the diary, and hissed more words into it, he screamed again, even louder than before.

Suddenly, a light came out of his body, and into his diary. The diary's pages flipped and it closed by itself. Tom stopped screaming. The imperio he used on her stopped. She let out a sob and ran to Tom's body. He looked more lifeless than Myrtle. She fell to her knees beside him and rolled him over, so he was facing up. Silver heard the basilisk hissed and crawled back to its cave-like house.

Silver tried shaking Tom. He was passed out. Silver rubbed her face, trying to shake herself awake from this nightmare. She can't leave him here. She grabbed the cursed diary carefully, and slid it inside her robes. She then faced Tom, she sighed and wiped the remaining tears off her face.

Silver wanted to levitate him to the room of requirement and cast an invisibility spell on him, but Peeves was around at night, and Tom's floating body might just float trough him, and he'll feel it. So Silver grabbed his arms, and pulled him up. He was dead weight and Silver was having a hard time pulling him up. But she finally did it, and she let his body leaned into her. She casted an invisibility spell on both of them and she got out of the chamber with great difficulty.

Silver tried hissing some words into the sink, and after a while, it finally closed. She sighed and turned around, with Tomstill leaning on her, his left arm dangling around her shoulders, and her handaround his waist, supporting his unconscious body up. She took one last look atthe poor girl, and left the lavatory, body shaking.
