𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘, Elizabeth decided to head to the boardwalk, yet again. Considering that there wasn't much to do in Santa Carla besides the boardwalk, she decided to spend her night there. Elizabeth was also secretly hoping she'd see the boys again, not only so she could thank them properly for their hospitality, but she'd be able to see them once more.

Elizabeth couldn't describe it, but she felt such a connection to these boys. She wasn't sure if it was pure curiosity or what, but something inside her told her to get closer to them, get to know them. Perhaps, it was because they're an attractive group
of rebellious bikers, they were everything Elizabeth wasn't. They intrigued her beyond anything she's ever known. Elizabeth knew one thing for sure: she had to see them again.

So as it was, Elizabeth was currently walking along the shops of the boardwalk. Like usual, the joyful screams of children and music filled the air. The bright lights of the stores and carnival rides lighting up the whole place. People of all types rushing around and laughing. Elizabeth smiles to herself as she took in the beauty of the boardwalk. Elizabeth suddenly spotted a video store, Video Max.

Before she knew it, she found herself scrolling through the isles of different movies and video tapes. The store itself was small but nice. The walls were decorated in diverse patterns and bright colors, popular songs playing throughout the store. A few people were inside the store along with her, a few teenagers and mothers with their young children. There was also a young man, probably early thirties, standing at the front counter. The owner of the store, Elizabeth presumed.

The man was a tall gentleman with rich brown hair and black square glasses hugging his face. He had the beginning of crow's feet around his eyes but yet still held youth in his features. He wore casual clothes, a baggy colorful shirt with dark pants. Elizabeth had noticed that he had been staring at her curiously as she walked around the store, his eyes studying her. His stare wasn't threatening, but it put Elizabeth slightly on edge. Once she had browsed her way close to the counter, he cleared his throat. "Is there anything I can help you with tonight, miss?" He asked politely, a warm smile taking up his face.

Elizabeth gave him a friendly smile in return, "Oh, I'm just passing through. Thank you, though," she smiled. The man nodded his head briefly in understanding, "Forgive me, but I don't think I've seen you around here before. Are you new to the area?" He questioned. Elizabeth felt her shoulders sag, she forced a smile once more, "Yes, actually. My mother and I just moved here not too long ago," she explained with faux enthusiasm. The man smiled, "Ah, well. Welcome to Santa Carla, I'm Max," he introduced himself.

Elizabeth stuck her hand out towards him, he shook her hand with a smile. "Elizabeth Sinclair," she spoke with a smile. Max's eyes shifted for a second, almost as if he recognized her name. His expression only lasted for a mere second before he was smiling again. "Well, it's very nice to meet you, Elizabeth," he smiled as he leaned on the palms of his hands against counter. "Nice meeting you too, Max. You have a nice night," she called before giving him a small wave and heading towards the exit of the store. "You too!"
