CHAPTER 17

*continued Lorenzo POV*

Now it was time to track down this bitch boy.

My tech guy, Leo, said that he is hiding in a hotel nearby. Hiding, typical Darrion.

I have decided we are going to pay him a lil visit. Maybe have a cup of tea or something.

IM KIDDING, I'm going to blow his brains out.

But before I do that, I need to take Daisy to school. Mateo's "busy" which normally means he is playing cod. What's the point of playing a fake shooting game when you can literally just shoot a gun in real life.

Anyway, I should probably go get Petal ready for school.

"PETAL! ARE YOU NEARLY READY?"

"Coming!" And off she goes again, travelling down the stairs at the speed of light.

We are just about to leave when I notice something in her hair. A little Daisy hairband.

"Where did you get your hairband Daisy?" I asked.

"Miss B-Bloom got it f-for me!"

Ok, there goes my heart. I didn't need it anyway I guess. Dear god, I can't go anywhere without being reminded of the woman I can't let in my life.

"It looks very cute on you petal, now let's get going. We don't want to be late to school, do we?"

"N-nope!"

We then spent the drive talking about all sorts of things. Daisy's new obsession is...minecraft? Apparently Mateo got her into it and now my 6 year old is trying to build a whole town. To be fair it all sounds interesting, I'm surprised Mateo has the FREAKING time for it.

That man does anything but his bloody job.

"Right come on petal, daddy's got to go to work now, why don't you go in to school?"

"I-I don't w-want to."

"Why not petal?"

"I h-heard you and Uncle T-Teo talking about the s-scary man that h-hurt Nanny. Is h-he going to catch me?" Her lip started to quiver.

"Daisy, petal, you know I would never let that happen to you. Uncle Teo and I never let you out of our sight and I promise you nothing will happen. I'm going to pay that mean man a visit and tell him off so he can never get to you. Don't worry petal."

"Ok, j-just make s-sure he doesn't hurt anyone. I d-dont like seeing you hurt daddy." And with that, she got out the car and ran towards the entrance, just like last time.

Even though Daisy is only six, she manages to have the maturity of someone who is much older. I just love that.

After driving back to the base, I call out for Mateo.

"IGHT MATEO, it's gonna be one hell of a drive, so get your arse out of bed and get on the road."

He came tumbling down the stairs in a all-black suit and he fixed his black hair.

"Right I'm ready to go Lorenzo, are we taking the bikes or the cars?"

"Bikes. We are going to chase him, and we are going to look bad ass while doing it." I replied with a smirk.

"Hell yeah! That's what I'm fucking talking about!"
