CHAPTER 21

*lorenzo's POV*

It was a hella long drive towards the hotel. Normally I would of only thought about Daisy. But this mission, I have someone else to think about too.

It's a weakness. I kept repeating that to myself.

As soon as we arrived, I got Mateo to brief the guys on how we take this on. I was going to bust down the door to the hotel room and we would all surround him. Let's hope this goes well.

"On my count!...1...2...3!" I shouted as I busted through the door.

Guard up, guns up.

*CRASH*

"DARRION WHERE THE FUK ARE YOU?" I commanded. No reply.

I looked around the empty room... oh shit he really isn't here. I did an extensive search and still found absolutely nothing. This can't be true. The men surrounding the perimeter didn't pick anything up either. We have been had. How the hell?

"Mateo how the hell...I FORGOT DAISY!!"

"What? Lorenzo you aren't making any sense." Mateo exclaimed.

"I FORGOT TO PICK DAISY UP FROM SCHOOL. ITS ALREADY FIVE PM. WE HAVE TO GO MATEO." My child will always come first.

Mateo rounded up the troops and we swiftly left. I raced down the roads like I had no care. I simply didn't at this point. How could I have been so bloody stupid? It's my one job to pick her up from school and I bloody didn't.

The one thing I know is that this can't happen again. God knows what could of happened to her. She's a target, that's my fault. Everything's my fault.

Daisy is a smart girl. I hope she went to the office or something. While driving, i did something dangerous and checked my phone.

Two missed calls from...Stacey? Oh thank god, Stacey probably has her and brought her back to base. Thank god she's a angel.

I radioed to Mateo to tell him the news.

"Ay Teo, Stacey has her. Over."

"Oh thank fuck! I thought something would of happened. Lorenzo you are lucky to have someone like Stacey in your life. Do not let this run away from you. She has already done so much for this family, don't let her go. Over."

I rode down the road and pondered about my reply to Mateo's little speech. To be honest he was completely right. Stacey is perfect. But she's too perfect, and never in my life would I ever want to ruin that.

"Pshhh, alright Mateo. Over and out."

I quickly put in the code and drove steadily up to the gates. The lights were on in the mansion, that is a hella good sight. I will never let this happen to petal again.

All the men parked up, while me and Teo tore up to the front door. Unlocking it swiftly.

The house was oddly silent, until I heard panicked running. Daisy came zooming full speed with tears in her eyes.

"Petal!!! Oh my god, are you ok? What happened Daisy?" I asked worriedly.

"He H-he h-he..." Daisy struggled to get her words out.

"It's ok Petal, I just really need you to tell me what happened."

"H-he hurt m-miss bloom, v-very badly..." she stuttered while pointing at the kitchen. Oh god no.
