CHAPTER 45

*Mateo's POV*

I slowly peeled my eyes open to find a heavy weight on my chest, Keo.

He is so beautiful when he sleeps. Ever since Stacey and Enzo started their weird "We love each other but we aren't going to be in a relationship as Enzo is too much of a dumb shit" thingy, Keo and I spent a lot of time together. And in that time, I realised that his is the most beautiful and gorgeous man I had ever met.

I have always been gay, but never properly out. I didn't want to make some massive thing out of it, so I just let Enzo work it out on his own.

I'm glad he has Stacey, he needs her. More than he will ever admit. He was lost, looking for a purpose other than Daisy, and he found it in his daughters kindergarten teacher. Typical bloody Enzo.

I begin to stroke Keo's hair, running my hand through his blonde locks.

"T-teo?"

"Good morning baby." I say, which causes a blush to spread. What can I say, the Mafia are the dominant ones.

"Teo I have something to tell you..." Keo lets out slowly.

"Alright baby, go on."

"My mom has invited Stacey and everyone to dinner. She was like a second mom to Stacey. And I was just wondering if you could go. Obviously you don't have to go if you don't want to. I don't want to make you uncomfortable. God that was stupid to ask. I will-"

I cut him off with a loud chuckle.

"Baby, I would love to meet your mom. The person who raised my beautiful boyfriend. Does she know anything about me, by any chance?" I ask, and with that the permanent blush on his cheeks worsens.

"Uh, ahem. She knew about you the first time I saw you. I described all your features, like your eyes and your hair and your height, well basically everything about you. She was the one who said I should flirt with the other boy to make you get a move on and ask. So basically, nothing much?" He finishes in a questioning tone, after speeding through his first part of the speech.

"Yeah sure, nothing much." I chuckle, the blush never going away.

That's when almond decided to grace us with her presence.

"Good morning my beautiful gorgeous lovely dog! Did you have a beautiful sleep, my gorgeous?" Keo spoke in his "dog voice"

Of course almond doesn't reply, and just curls up on my chest along with Keo.

"I can't wait to meet your mom baby. I love you." I state.

"I love you too, Teo."

That's when I decided, I want to spend the rest of my life like this. My beautiful boyfriend, whose mine, and our dog.
