I was soaked by the time I made it back home. Could I even call it my home anymore? I was supposed to feel safe at home. It was supposed to be my safe space, but now I wanted to be anywhere but here. It was pouring outside, now early in the morning. My voice was hoarse and croaky from screaming all night. I hadn't slept at all last night. Slowly trudging up the stairs to my room, I passed my dad's office. I stared at the closed doors, wishing he would open them. Wishing he would come out and talk to me. I didn't care if he was throwing glass at me or punishing me, I just wanted to see him again. I didn't even get to say goodbye..."Meow!"
"Hi Moody," I croaked, weakly smiling and scratching his ears. I filled his food and water bowls up and turned the shower on. I stepped in the warm water and cleaned myself before falling to my knees, more tears squeezing their way through my tightly shut eyes.
"Why?" I asked softly. My knuckles stung and my body still ached. I turned the water off and halfheartedly dried myself, changing into sweatpants and a big hoodie. I walked back downstairs and having nothing else to do, started cleaning. As I was just finishing, my phone began to ring. A call? I walked over to my phone and answered it without looking who it was from.
"Hello?" I asked. There was silence for a few seconds.
"Hey Christian," the voice said back. It was a deep voice that I didn't recognize, causing me to take a look at the phone number.
"Yeah, who is this? I don't recognize your phone number," I asked back. The boy on the other end chuckled.
"I'm the guy who was in the park that one day. You know, the one who followed you all the way to Theodore's house? Check our texts if you don't remember."
"Oh you're that guy. What do you want?" I asked emotionlessly. I was too tired to care. I was in too much pain to care. There was a moment of silence before he spoke again.
"I heard you're all alone now. I can help you make money."
"How'd you know?" I asked, ignoring his offer. How did he know? Do other people know? I didn't tell anybody.Who exactly is this? Why is he offering to help me?
"I have my ways. About that offer... the one hundred dollars he left for you isn't going to last forever, you know," he taunted. How did he know that? This guy really was a stalker. Maybe he snuck in when I was at the hill last night. Was he at that hill that night?
"Can you see me right now?" I asked, sitting down on the couch and looking around. Is he going to kidnap me? Would I even care at this point? Hah. No.
"No, but I wish I could. So are you going to let me help you earn money?" he asked again. Is he actually going to help me or is this a trap? I thought for a second before decided I didn't care if it was.
"Yeah, sure. How?" I finally agreed.
"Come to this address and I'll show you," he said, hanging up. He had sent me a text with an address and a time.

Don't be late.I sighed and put the cleaning supplies away. Should I really go? I mean, I have nothing left to lose. My phone dinged again.
