And I don't know, maybe we'll be together again
Sometime, in another life─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
After much thought, Sophia and Jesse had come to a conclusion of giving the baby up for adoption. They were not ready to be parents and they both agreed on it. What was even better was that Clarissa and Adeliene had decided to adopt the baby. They had been thinking about it for a while now and Jesse trusted them more than anything in the world. But would he be okay with watching his kid everyday with someone else as their parent? What if he changed his mind later? He could never do that to Clarissa.
Delilah did everything she could to help Sophia out and she couldn't be more grateful. At first, Delilah was skeptical about the girl. She was scared to let her best friend go but the more time she spent with Sophia, the more she realized that no one could be better for Jesse.
Sophia spent a lot of time with Delilah which meant she also spent a lot of time near Oliver and Daisy. Jesse was around most of the time as well and the four talked a lot, so there was no surprise when Sophia asked Delilah and Oliver how they met.
"Would we be together if I was actually on the team? Would you be interested in me? As far as I remember, you were only interested because you wanted to figure out why I didn't 'like' Quidditch" Delilah couldn't help but wonder.
"I'm pretty sure I would" Oliver replied.
"How can you be so sure?" Delilah asked with a raised brow, "one small decision can change everything in your future"
"Because either way you would've found me annoying and I couldn't stand that" Oliver grinned and Delilah smiled and rolled her eyes.
Alternate universe
Delilah Rose grew up with nothing but Quidditch and it was no surprise to anyone when she made the Gryffindor team in her fourth year. She would've tried out earlier if it weren't for Charlie Weasley, but now that he had left, it was her turn to shine.
Oliver Wood was the new captain of the team and Delilah couldn't help but find him rather annoying. Ever since she ran into him in third year, she had been skeptical about the boy. He was obsessed with Quidditch and possibly considered himself as the best player in Gryffindor after Charlie. He was always going on and on about being a Quidditch player and how it was the best. It was also possible that Delilah was a little jealous. She was the daughter of two very famous Quidditch players of their time who still worked in the Quidditch department of the Ministry.
Not becoming captain was obviously a let down on her family. She was determined to prove herself to the world and Oliver Wood was in her way.
"Our first practice will be on Monday. I'll let you know the time. Be prepared because it's going to be tough" Oliver told his team with a thick scottish accent lacing his voice.
Delilah could tell by his poise that he was a little nervous about being a captain, she wouldn't have been this nervous if she was the captain herself.
Oliver was never intimidated by Delilah Rose, she may be a good Quidditch player and related to famous people, but he was never going to treat her differently for that. He saw her eyes roll at him when he addressed the team. Why did she think she was so much better than him?
