I took in some breathers and I hesitantly left my car. I locked it with my shaking hands.
"What're you doing mischa" I said to myself. I gulped my fear and I began to walk to the asylum. I noticed there was a man standing there, in a work uniform
"Are you Mischa Graham?" The man asked me, with a rather large, welcoming smile.
"Yes I am" I held my hand out to shake. He took it kindly, still smiling. He had a very sweet smile and it melted my heart.
"Hi, I'm Barney. I've been told to lead you to dr. Chilton" he informed me. I smiled and nodded my head at him.
"Come with me, mind the step" he pointed at the step. I followed Barney through the corridors, it was a rather busy building and people in the work uniforms were passing me every minute, they had food trays, clothes, vomit or spit over them, some still even had piss on them.
"We're here. Dr. Chilton will go through the rules with you." Barney opened the door to Dr Chiltons office and gave me an assuring smile.
"Thanks so much, Barney" I said to him. He shut the door and left.
"Mischa Graham?"
I looked over my shoulder to see Dr Chilton walking over to me, buttoning up his blazer.
"It is." I held my hand out to shake but instead, he kissed my hand. I felt my cheeks blush and I felt a little awkward.
"I feel like I've seen you somewhere" he murmured while analysing my face.
"You might've known my mother. Grace?""Ah yes, we didn't talk much. It was only for one occasion. Please sit" Dr Chilton walked over to this desk and he sat himself down and began to search his drawers. I sat myself down, crossing my legs. He handed me over a visitor pass to stick onto my jacket so I could have access around the asylum.
"Jack has told me about your relationship with Dr. Lecter, if you wish we can turn off the security cameras in his room and give you full privacy to the entire case" Chilton negotiated."I don't need special treatment for this case, I don't mind if you keep the cameras on or not. I have nothing to hide" I said, confidently.
"I see. Follow me to his cell"
He was a fast walked and it was a slight struggle for me to keep up with him.
"Do not touch the glass, do not approach glass, no pencils or paper clips in his papers. Do you understand?"
"I understand"
He stopped at a door. He sighed as he reached out to the door Knob.
"I'm a corridor away" he informed me. I nodded my head as I was shaking in my breath. He swung open the door and I slowly walked in. The door shutting made me gasp.
I was alone with the monster....
I saw his cell was rather deluxe, it reminded me of our apartment in my youth yet there was no colour in cell. He had a large bookshelf and a small bed that looked uncomfortable and in the centre of his room, was a desk that looked empty except for an opened book. I noticed Hannibal was facing his bookshelf and was flipping through the pages of a book.
"Dr Lecter, may I speak with you?" I asked, sitting myself down and crossing my legs.
"I recognise that voice... a new scent though. How are you, kitten?" Hannibal placed his book back onto the shelf and walked over to the glass, staring at me. I felt my eyes water from the sight of him.
"Dr lecter.. I am, Agent-" he rudely cut me off.
"An introduction? I hear you're in the FBI, hence why you're here And I notice you're calling me dr lecter. I see you want a fresh start and you're trying to push away your memories of me" Hannibal noted down what I was telling him.
"I've been told by Jack Crawford to ask for your help""He must be desperate to send my own daughter to beg for my help"
"Two families murdered in their own homes... glass shards in their eyes and he smashed all the mirrors... "
"May I see the case files"
"You may"
I searched my bag for the case files and I pulled them out, it was a thin pile since we had nothing on the murderer and I walked over to the drawer. Hannibal walked over, with the same pace as me, to the drawer with me. I put in the case files carefully and i slotted them to Hannibal's side of his cage. He picked them up and walked back to face me. I was sat back on the chair and I crossed my legs again. Hannibal was in front of me, reading through the pages.
"He may see himself as disfigured, thats why he smashes the mirrors in the house"
