2 ~ Exam Site?

Gon POV
Once we all got off the ship the captain told me to start heading to the lone ceder tree at the top of the hill. where we can find people to take all of us to the exam site. I go and find the others near the map and explain what the captain told me.....

Your POV

We all head off the ship when Gon gets stopped by the captain. While Gon is talking to the captain Kurapika, Leorio, and I all head to the map to see where we need to go and also wait for Gon. Once Gon finds us at the map he tells us that we need to head to the lone cedar tree and find the navigators who will take them to exam site. Leorio decides to go on the bus that goes away from the tree and towards Zaban city. As we head up the trail to the cedar I hear him shout "HEY wAIT FOR MEEEE!!" as he is sprinting towards us.

" I thought you were going to take the bus" Kurapika says.

"I was but I thought you guys would get lonely and I don't yet trust you guys with my sister." Leorio says back.

"Yeah sure, ya idiot just keep up and don't get lost. Plus you I can hold my own." I say to him *besides I'm pretty sure we're all gay in this group* I mumble under my breath.

As we continue our journey up the hill we come across a seemingly abandoned town. When these people with masks and robes came out along with an old woman they are all chanting something I'm not focussing on. "Hey Grandma, did you start a cult on the side of a hill? And can I join?" I ask her.

"y/n?! Whats that about???" Kurapika asks me surprised I'd ask to join a random cult.

The old woman being caught off gaurd just hands me a mask and robe and yells "ok, Anyways IT'S TIME FOR THE EXCITING 2 CHOICE QUIZ!!!"

Then suddenly this black haired man came into the town and says "don't group me in with these guys I'll be taking the quiz on my own."

"Ok then your question is your mother and your lover have been kidnapped you can only save 1 who will you save? You can only answer 1 or 2 any other answer will make you disqualified." the old woman asks.

"Well that's easy I'd choose my mother #1. Because you only have 1 mother but you can always get nother lover" the man answers with a smirk.

"You may pass." the woman says.

"WHAT?! How is that the right answer???" Leorio Exclaims.

I hear that man scream in the background very faintly while leorio is still yelling next to me.

"OK SHUT UP ONI~CHAN!!!!!!!!" I yell back at him. Everyone is stunned at how loud I could get. "Now then please continue miss." I tell the old woman.

"Now your question is your daughter and your son are both hanging aove a cliff you can only save one of them who will you choose either 1 your daughter or 2 your son, you have five seconds to answer." She tells us. We stay quiet as she counts down. When she finishes my idiot of a brother is about to hit her when Kurapika steps in front of her blocking Leorio's attack and yelling at him to stop and that we got it right. "Leorio STOP! We got it right silence was tthe right answer there were actually three possible answers not just the two that sheimplied." he explained.

"Aahh I see so we got it right. I'm sorry for trying to attack you miss." Leorio appologises

"That's fine now this path will lead you straight to the cabin, it should take about 2 hours to get tot the end of the tunnel." She intructs. We follow her instructions and walk the tunnel with leorio complaining the whole way there. When we got to the end of the tunnel there was a lake and a boat. We started rowing the boat and I spaced out but the next thing I know I'm back on land and walking towards a cabin that I think the couple should live in? Anyway we knocked on the door and there was no answer so we just went in and inside there was an injured man and a kiriko holding a woman with odd tatoos on her body. Leorio stays with the man to treat his wounds while Gon, kurapika and I ran off following the kiriko. We are chasing them when I see another one and go after it. As I'm chasing it I get close enough to hit it so I take the chance hit it and then ask "Hey, kiriko where are we going?"

"Ummm, the waterfall? Maybe" it answers

"Oh! Cool. also what pronouns do you use I can't tell?" I ask because why not.

"Well, I'm a woman so she/her pronouns. Also why are you being friendly and chasing me istead of my husband with the girl?" She asks

"Hmmmm well, Oh! We're at the waterfall where to now?" I ask

"Well I take my leave here but answer my question first your friend might be here soon." she tells me.

"OK! Well I've been friendly since you didn't do anything other than be a witness and you seem like a good person, and I was chasing you because I thought you might try to hurt me or my friends, Also sorry for hitting you earlier." I respond

"It's ok and I'm going to take my leave now, bye" she says and then disappears into the water. I then see Gon chasing after the kiriko from earlier and when they arrive he also disappears into the water. Me and Gon wander into a field when one of the kiriko's pop back up. It brings back it's claws and prepares to strike at us but we don't move at all. "Hey miss, why are you attacking Gon?" I ask her recognizing her as the wife.

"Yeah, You're not the one I hit. Your voice is higher and you look entirely different." Gon states. She starts laughing

"haha Hey honey you gotta come see this, they got us figured out!" she yells back. The husband then pops up next to her and starts to say something but I cut him off before he can say anything

"Hey! Gon you're right they look totally different." I exclaim.

"Wow! It's been a long time since anyone could tell us apart. Once we have everyone else back at the cabin and they tell us we pass. They then fly us all to Zaban city and take us to a restaurant and order some food as a code for the hunter exam. We all go to the back room, Gon and I say goodbye to the kiriko son. And we soon started to sink as the room became an elevator. When the elevator got to the bottom we got out and a weird green, bean like thing came over to us and said

"Hello and welcome to the hunter exam. Here are your numbers please where them on your chest the whole time through the exam unless told otherwise."

"Ok Mr have a good exam day!" I respond. My number is 406. After that this big man came over to this and started a conversation "Hey, you guys look like rookies my name is Tonpa you could say I'm an exam veteran after taking this exam 34 times." he said "oh! Do you want to drink something to our new found acquaintance?" tonpa told us handing over some cans of orange juice. I refused the drink as I am not thirsty at the moment nor do I feel like being poisoned, while Gon and eorio start to sip it when gon spits it out and says "Hey tonpa I think the juice might be expired or something." Leorio immedietly poured the rest of it out while Kurapika just slowly poured it all out.

Well there we go chapter 2! sorry  it took a bit to get out I will try to figure out a writing/posting schedule.... So when I'm sure on the schedule I have I'll post it at the end of one of the A/N
