Chapter Two
"Uncommitted Relationships"

Namjoon sat down and pulled out his latest book: milk and honey by Rupi Kaur. He was enjoying the book immensely and his tea was perfect, all thanks to his favourite barista. He hadn't caught the mans name but he supposed the latter was married by the kid clinging to his leg whilst he ordered. It didn't really matter nonetheless, he was straight and in a very stable relationship with the love of his life Bor—

Ping!

Well he was in a stable relationship.

The man sighed as he pulled out a notebook and some stray letters from his bag.

'Lyrics... words that rhyme but relate to each other at the same time...'

"Hiya, just wondering if I could have your number?" Namjoon looked up in complete shock. "Oh you're writing? Lets have a look!" Namjoon started to internally panic as the young woman leaned on the table, reading his lyrics with a playful expression.

"Uh- I- well you- you see I don't.. I- well I don't- please don't read that..." Namjoon's voice fell weak as the woman ignored his protests and got closer to him.

"Ma'am could you please back up and listen to the guy? It's clear he's not comfortable with you reading his stuff." Namjoon looked up to his saviour and smiled his thank you.

"Sorry, but what about that number business? I am pretty good in bed if I do say so myself!" Namjoon shook his head politely.

"Sorry love, I'm actually asexual and I'm not really looking for a relationship right now..." the woman nodded and walked off, at least she was nice about it.

"You alright, Regular I Still Don't Know The Name Of?" Namjoon giggled.

"Yeah thank you... I'm Namjoon..."

"Yoongi." Namjoon nodded and watched the older walk off and ruffle his kid's hair. He waved back at the child who shone a goofy grin, noticing he had run out of his honey and at that moment his tea just wasn't sweet enough.
