Chapter Four
"Home & the Bees"

Yoongi smiled to himself as he let his friend take over the shift. Today wasn't necessarily busy but it was more customers than usual so, in turn, quite a bit of havoc formed with the employees coming in and out.

"Appa are you gonna listen to the story with me now?" Taehyung asked, despite loving the time he spent with Namjoon he couldn't help but be a little bored.

"Don't worry Tiger, I just gotta check up on uncle then I'll come over, okay?" Taehyung nodded and skipped back over to Namjoon.

"So, story time?" Namjoon looked up at the man who had slipped into the seat opposite him.

"Appa! You stole my seat!" Namjoon giggled at the boy.

"Well you stole my heart when you were born so I think we're equal."

"You did steal his seat hyung." Yoongi rolled his eyes playfully and pulled Taehyung on his lap. "Wow already dark, winter's close..." Yoongi and Taehyung looked out the window Namjoon was facing and agreed, the weather was chilly as well.

Namjoon adjusted himself in his speak before speaking. "So before we were all born bees were still making honey. Unlike us they never took a day off, the Queen gave birth and all the little kiddy bees went out to grab sugar from the plants like you'd do with you neighbors." Taehyung nodded knowingly, Namjoon had to simplify the story for him to comprehend but all three of them were enjoying either way. "So they grab the sugar and they mix it up until it makes honey! Honey is really good for you, at any age. In olden times they used honey to treat diseases and it's really good for when someone has cough, sometimes even better than medicine." Yoongi muttered a 'I like your funny words magic man' and smirked. "But sadly because of all that's happening bees are dying and can't make honey, you see? So what we have to do is plant flowers and trees so they live!" Taehyung nodded started running off to the kitchen, alerting his father. "Wait no I didn't mean now—."

"Appa Appa Appa! We gotta plan' da flowers!" Yoongi swiftly got up as he saw Taehyung run toward the doors of the shop, pulling on his coat simultaneously.

"Aigoo~ what am I going to do with you?" Yoongi cooed, picking up Taehyung and leaving kisses all over his face.

Namjoon laughed as Yoongi hauled his son over his shoulder and walked back to the table.

"How do you know so much about just bees?" Namjoon blushed a little, and brought his head down.

"W-well I'm actually an animal and human rights activist knowing these sorts of things is fun to me and learning about different cultures and religions is really cool."

"Could I ask you why if that's not too much?"

"No of course not, it's just if learnt more about others there would be so much less fighting in the world...I try to teach myself and others as much as I can about any religion, actually. I'm still atheist though." Yoongi nodded and blew raspberries into Taehyung's cheek, making the toddler giggle. "Hyung are you married? I thought you'd have a ring or something..." Yoongi looked at his hand and smiled.

"My ex wife is his mum. The only reason we get along is because of this little bear, otherwise, she could walk into fire and I wouldn't spare a glance." Taehyung turned around to face Namjoon.

"Mummy doesn't let me see Appa but I love both of dem loads! It's 'nnoying...!" Taehyung turned his head around to his Appa. "I wanna live with Namu!" Namjoon choked on his drink.

"Taehyung, dear, I love you but you gotta stay with your Mummy or Appa."

"Dats not fair! Appa and Mummy always fight!"

"Yah! Min Taehyung!" Taehyung quickly lowered his volume as he realised the shop was still open. Yoongi sighed. "It's for your best interest baby, you'll understand when you're older, okay?"

"Okay..."
