Karin groaned and hit her alarm clock so hard that it fell off of the bedside table. She sat up in her bed and stretched, mewling softly as her back cracked. She reached under her pillow and pulled out her phone that had barely charged since her late night texting spree with Sakura.
Karin checked the time, her eyes squinting at the tiny font on her phone and she sprang out of bed and to her bathroom, it was 8:15 and her class started at 9:00, and with a twenty minute drive, that isn't something she can put off.
She quickly got into the shower and washed herself and her hair. When she got out she quickly dried off and put on some underwear and lotion before sliding on a pair of black yoga pants and a Rolling Stones sweater. She went back into the bathroom and dried her hair and styled it in the usual way. She finished and grabbed her glasses and put them on before running out of her room.
She ran through the living room and fed her pet ferret and gave it water before swiftly running to the kitchen. She put a bagel in the toaster and ran off when she pushed the button down. She ran to the desk on the other side of he living room and grabbed her backpack. She slung the heavy bag over her shoulder and ran back to the kitchen and retrieved her bagel.
She quickly covered the bread with cream cheese and left out of her door after putting on her black ugh boots and grabbing her keys. She checked her phone and saw it was already 8:15 and she took a deep breath in relief as she walked out of her apartment building.
She marched through the wet grass and clicked the unlock button on her car. She got into her 4X4 Jeep and tried to start it up, but the ignition was dead.
She got out of the car and kicked her tire, "FUCK!"
She heard a motor softening down as a boy on a motorcycle drove pass slowly. Karin continued to groan and swear until the boy stopped and took off his helmet.
He turned off his bike and walked over to Karin, "Is everything okay?"
Karin looked the boy over. He was tall, around 5'11". He was lean, and muscle was obviously there, like the body of a swimmer. His hair was shaved at the sides into a thick mohawk and dyed purple. He had a dark blue eyebrow piercing that complemented his dark grey-blue eyes. He wore a tight Ghost Town shirt with black skinny jeans and converse.
"Does it look like everything is okay?! My fucking car won't start!" She answered glaring at him.
He winced and ran his fingers through his dark purple mohawk, "I can fix it for you, I'm pretty good with cars."
"Unless you can fix a car in-" she checked her phone and threw her bagel to the ground, "Thirty minutes, I'd rather you not even try."
"Where are you headed to?" He asked sliding his finger over the edge of his helmet.
"State university," she grumbled running a hand through her frizzed hair.
"I'm going there to, if you don't mind taking my bike." He motioned towards his motorcycle with his head.
Karin scoffed, "I'm not taking that thing. It doesn't even look safe. Besides it rained last night, I don't think it's okay to drive that thing." she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Well I guess you're going to miss your lectures then." He shrugged his shoulder, "I'll fix the car when I get back at around nine o'clock tonight then-"
"NINE O'CLOCK?! I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NINE O'CLOCK TONIGHT!" Karin shouted.
"There's not much I can do if you don't want to take my bike then," he shrugged again and turned, walking back to his motorcycle.
