Apex Highschool AU (Wattane)

Boarding School // Ch.1

It's the first day back from summer break. One of the only times of the year where students have been given the special permission to go back and visit their family/loved ones for a given amount of time. Those select few who chose not to, stay within the building where they can do as they please until the break was over.

The students who had decided to leave for summer break; start making their way back inside the pristine building with their suitcases and other belongings in hand, waving their final goodbyes to their loved ones before heading inside being greeted by headmaster, Alexander Nox, who doesn't seem too fond of the idea of having to shake students hands or even having to smile at them.

As the students enter the building they are required to do a series of check-ins for safety measures before they could get their room key, proper schedules, and their new student I.D.

"Ugh, why is this line so slow? Like come on get a move on." Octavio groans, loosening his black tie and tapping his prosthetic foot repeatedly against the ground. "Don't ya dare start wit dat complain' of yours Silva. Waiting a couple of minutes ain't gon kill ya." Ajay remarks from the front of him, fixing her stripped, blue uniform vest and grey skirt slightly.

Octavio rolls his eyes and groans again impatiently, waiting for his luggage to get inspected. He leans his head back, bumping into someone behind him,"Whoops, sorry about that ami-" he turns rubbing the back of his head, interrupted by the beauty of the new girl that was now in front of him.

She had short blonde hair, blue eyes that had such an alluring glow when the light reflected on it, pale white skin with a huge scar shaped like electricity hugging the left side of her face, just right under her eye, leading down her neck; only to be cut off by the collar of her uniform making Octavio wonder how far this thing goes, his eyes roaming over her body.

"Umm...hello." the girl says shyly; revealing her french accent, looking up at Octavio, her face lit a light red color, pushing a couple strands of hair behind her ear. Octavio could feel his face getting a bit warmer the longer he looks at her. "Oh, perdón, I was just wondering about tha-" he stops himself realizing that she may not be comfortable answering that.

His eyes look back over at her scar not realizing she noticed him. "Oh, this?" she smiles as she gently presses her fingertips against it. "It was just a little accident I had while I was with my Papa years ago." Octavio smiles back at her, getting lost in his thoughts, "little accident? Yeah right." he then continues to roam within his mind before a big "NEXT!" breaks them.

He hadn't realized but it was now his turn to get his luggage inspected as the inspector woman yelled calling him "thick headed" and "slow" Octavio quickly turned around, offended by being called 'slow' which evolved into an full blown argument with the woman. "Who you calling slow chica? The real slow one is you taking forever to check bags!"

They start going back and forth as Ajay places her fingers on her eyebrow tilting her face downward, shaking her head in disappointment and embarrassment from what was seen before her. "Ugh, dis boy."she snarls, making her way toward Octavio, grabbing him by the ear and pulling him to the side so the woman could check his bag and to save Octavio from any further embarrassment that would have been bestowed upon him if he didn't stop.

"Ow, Che, that hurts! Lo siento, ok? Geez." Octavio pleads. "Yuh better be sorry. Like what were ya thinkin' arguing with her like that? You could've gotten yourself into big trouble." Ajay scolds before letting go of his ear. Octavio sucks his teeth rubbing the side of his face where Ajay pulled his ear, sulking and waiting to finally get his stuff and leave, glancing over at the blonde who he'd just met.

A few seconds pass and the woman gives Octavio an annoyed look before signaling him to grab his belongings. Octavio rushes over, grabbing his luggage and heads over to the table where they give out the student I.Ds and schedules. Once he had those, he turned around and quickly flips the inspector woman off.

"Octavio! What are ya doi-" Ajay manages to spit out before quickly being snatched away by her arm and led running into the hallway; out the side door leading onto campus by Octavio. He hadn't realized it but now that Octavio really thought about it...

He never got that blonde girl's name.
