parents are good at lying. they lied to us about santa, the toothfairy, and the easter bunny. eventually they told me, and i wasn't too baffled about the fact that my childhood heroes were actually my parents. and really, i shouldnt be mad about this. they didn't actually lie to me, they just never told me it.
i just turned 16. and, i just happened to find out my fate in love will be decided by an invisible string, drawing me to the soulmate the universe has chosen for me. i almost feel like one of those disney princesses who is being forced to marry someone they don't even know. how is it fair? how is it even possible, actually. sure, magics real. the sunshine girl is clearly "magical". but this seemed impossible.
