《Edit: March 28. My family suggested me slowly but surely drawing "covers" for each chapter I wont do ALL of them but I will do them for every ODD chapter!》
Monsters had recently been freed, and you were neutral towards the situation. You didn't hate the monsters, nor were you super exited about them. A kid had set them free, which was hilarious, but they didn't always say never judge a book by its cover after all.
Frisk was her name, though she was very young, she was beyond intelligent, smarter than you, that's for sure! Though her mother was kind, you met them once or twice when you went out fo buy your [coffee/morning drink] at a local coffee shop. You always wondered what would it be like if you went on her adventure? What if you were the one to set the monsters free? Though silly of you to think you could ever be as brave as her.
With a sigh, you went on with your day, watching horror movies and doing your job, which you loved. You did all forms of commissions online, weather it be art, or hand made plushies you adored to make. Not something you would expect from someone who loves horror, making cute plushies! It was your passion and one of the things that made you smile and not want negativity.Knock knock knock
Who might that be? You opened the door and there stood two fluffy goats and a familiar child, "Hello Mrs. Toriel! Mr. Asgore!" You greeted with a smile.
"Hello my child! So sorry for coming here so suddenly! But do you mind taking care of Frisk for a bit? Sans is busy doing... whatever his job is, I'm not sure if he actually has a job. And Papyrus is out with Undyne trying to get into a police academy."
"No problem! I'd love to ake care of the kid!" With a smile Frisk ran inside, "And no need to apologize, I have plenty of games for Frisk to stay entertained with until you two come back."
Toriel smiled with relief, glad you weren't upset or denied, "Thank you, we will be back in two hours or so for Frisk. Take care!" With that, the couple left.
Frisk was running around the house, looking at everything with amaze, mainly the three plushies you had currently made. They were all Pokémon, just the three classic starters, a commision that you really needed to send out. The child infront of you never really spoke, she could but around strangers she preffered to use sign language...but around you she was a ball of energy waiting to be released!
"[Y/n]! [Y/n]! Do you have anything I could draw on? I want to make mom a picture!" You nodded and grabbed a small stack of printer paper and gave her a few art supplies, "Thank you! And you're super good at making these! Can you make me one, one day?"
"Anything for you kiddo! You can use the kitchen counter to draw on. I've gotta go get some stuff so you wont be bored. Mk?"
That got her exited, Frisk ran off to go draw and you went upstairs. It was a two story house, you didn't have any pets because you were always afraid of them tearing up all your work. Walking into your room, something felt off...you stood still for a few seconds before looking around, did you always have a apple necklace? Slowly, you walked over to it, it was a simple yet charming black apple necklace, smiling you put it on. What a wonderful small find, though you don't remember buying it or receiving it as a gift. You grabbed a few games and your switch before walking to where Frisk was.
