CHAPTER TWO

HALOS POV

Waking up at five I grab two painkillers an head to the bathroom drinking some water from the tap downing the pills down I wash my face and brush my teeth and hair tying it up in a messy bun walking out I take my rags I call clothes off to get dressed for school
I'll wear my black high waisted jeans with a long sleeve light blue top with my baggy denim jacket and old dirty white air Maxs.

Okay I'm done I look at the time good it's six I better hurry to do breakfast quickly making my way down stairs to the kitchen relived that the omegas done the dishes last night .
I quickly made brekky four lots of pancakes scribbled eggs and bacon with quick blueberry muffins placing them on the table once there cooked grabbing some orange juice and water placing I quickly head for the door .
as I'm leaving I see a car pulling in the long drive way I keep my head down not wanting to make a scene I keep walking as it slowly drives past but stops to the side of me a low growl is heard .

shit I bow my head waiting for a noise word anything at this point but I'm met with silence before it slowly continues to drive to the pack house
Okay that was weird I think .

(Alpha) halo you are expected to be home at 230 the school already knows i need you to set up for xanders birthday party and welcoming at 6 I've ordered the pack not to bother you today as it needs to be perfect tonight understood if it's not I'll punish you .

(Halo) shit that must of been xander pulling in omg my worst nightmare is back how am I going to last the day which unfortunately for me means my birthdays tomorrow a smile appears on my face maybe my mate will take me away from this hell hole or protect me please lady moon let him save me .

Sitting in my first class English I feel strange in my chest like somethings going to happen today I can feel it bad or good I don't want to find out after time flys the bell rings I wait for everyone to leave first before I head to my locker my head low feeling my anxiety build up more I keep my head low even the pack told to leave me alone I just feel like something is going to happen.

Xanders pov

(Halo) umph uh sorry I wasn't looking where I was going I look up an instant regret it .

(Xander) mate I say as I look at this beautiful girl with fear in her eyes I reach to grab her face but she flinches (wolf) she's afraid of us mate afraid ) my wolf says I smile at her as she gives a small smile back

What's your name I say while I take a big inhale of her scent lemon vanilla with a hint of rain it's intoxicating till she looks me dead in the eyes with her beautiful royal blue eyes that have specks of gold sterling around them and says the worse thing I could ever hear .
halo thorn rivers with a stutter all i see is rage anger disgust once those words left her mouth .

I growl loud making the ground rumble causing a crowd to form .

I boom as I grab her by the neck sparks igniting as I squeeze her tight looking at me with tears in her eyes before I throw he into the wall and storm off .

my wolf says before shutting me out before I could reply .shit i say before going to class .

Halo pov

I bump into someone and feel tingles and look up an instantly regret it

Mate I here xander say no no no I keep saying in my head please no I look in his beautiful forest green eyes with fear then look down as he tries to reach for my face
but I flinch scared of what's to come
I look up again as he smile at me I try to force a smile back.

what's your name he say as he breathes my scent I gulp down hard before saying halo thorn rivers with a bow he growls loud that made me pale in fear as he said the words that shattered me completely .

he booms as people watch
my eyes tear up as he grabs me by the neck strangling me while I'm in the air then throws me hard into the wall thankfully missing the lockers .

I look down and gasp as people throw insults at me before Alex rushes to me to help me up

Alex voice booms and they scatter .
I look at him as tears fall from my eyes.

(Halo) I love you Alex I say with a shaky voice

(Alex) I love you always thorny

(Halo) it hurts I need to go I'm gonna leave to get everything ready for tonight lex I can't be hear .(lex is halos nickname for Alex)

(Alex)okay but promise me one thing you'll be there when I get home after training okay
he says before giving me a hug and kissing my forehead.

I run as fast as I could into the forest crying my eyes out till I can't run anymore looking up at the tree tops I sigh lady moon you have cursed me I cry louder tonight I'm going to end all of this .

(Hour later)

Back at the pack house I take a quick shower drying myself off I dress in a baggy old shirt and trackys and head down stairs to the ball room .

First I mop and polish the floor then I get a ladder out the of the hall way closet to add fairy lights on the side wall looking at the time it's 11:30 .

good I have 6 hours to get this ready once the lights are hung I get right into it after four hours of hard work I go to the kitchen making a beautiful 4 tier black forest cake chocolate muffins and mini lemon and white chocolate cheese cake waiting for them to cook .

I prepare dinner tonight they are going to have garlic lobster roast beef with roast veggies potatoe bake cauliflower bake prawn cocktails with finger foods once I'm all done I head to my room to get ready for tonight.
