MY MOM FEEDS ME COOKIES

We were lost. And my hopes were going down the drain. Swoosh.

Hello peeps! Hope you are doing great. I am so not. Lets see what happened to me.

At the premiere, after I found my dad with the form inside the brown cover , I was relieved. But then there was the problem of getting it to Pinch of Yum's office within an hour and a half. Well, technically an hour cause the premiere had to get over. There was no one to drive me off to the Springfield building, and Sita had left long back. So only dad had to get me there. And for dad to come, it was going to take him at least a half an hour. Springfield, where Pinch of Yum's head office was located, wasn't that far away. But it could take at least 20 minutes.

In the meantime, I was explaining to mom about all the stuff that had happened in the last few hours. She gave me a cookie to calm me down. "Eat, you'll feel better." Cookies never fail to cool me down. She always has a pack of them handy. The premiere was quite boring. People going on and on about how much stuff meant to them. I was thinking of ways to get as fast as we could to the office.

Finally, the premiere came to an end. Cyrus Mington was a popular person. And the driver had somehow vanished and we did not have the time to go look for him or call him. So my dad planned on driving me to Springfield, taking a huge risk. My mom in the front, me in the back(masks on!) my dad drove as fast as he could. But the thing was, he had no idea where he was driving to. He asked me where we were going. And when I said Springfield, he nearly jumped. "Springfield? Omg. We are totally in the opposite direction!" "Dad! I told you!" And we had exactly 30 minutes left before the registration line closed. Amazing. We went into hundreds of streets for a shortcut to Springfield, and in no time we were lost. Stranded amidst normal houses. I was so deep in trauma, while my mom was trying to feed me a cookie. Seriously though mom. Google maps was the ultimate option. But alas both my parents' phones were dead and I realized mine was with Sita. Asking directions from strangers could get us into trouble. And time was flowing as fast as my mind. It was a complete disaster.

We somehow reached the main road, after like, another 20 minutes. All that was left was 10 minutes and there was no way we were getting to Springfield in 10minutes.

Desperately hoping for miracles,

Melody Mington.
