Bailey's POV

"So what are our plans for today?" Chase asks, handing me a plate of pancakes.

"I don't know. I've got the day off so we could do anything." I shrugged.

"Okay, well....as your boyfriend, I'm telling you what were doing today." He chuckles.

"Okay Captain, what are we doin?" I loved humoring him.

"Movies. I'll go pick up our favorite movie from when we were kids-"

"Talladega Nights." I smiled.

"Yes ma'am. You grab the fluffiest blanket you own." He says, kissing my forehead. "I'll be back."

"Okay. Bye." I continued eating my food. It felt weird calling him my boyfriend, but I liked it.

Chase's POV
I shut her door quickly and almost skipped my way into town. It was a different feeling, but a good feeling. For as long as I've liked Bailey, this feels way too real. These past few days felt way too real. I paid for the movie and walked out of the shop, when I bumped into someone and their girlfriend.

"My bad." I said, looking up then I realized it was Ryan and his girl. "Crazy seein yall here."

"I could say the same about you." Ryan narrows his eyes at me. "Why don't you go wait in the park, I'll be there soon." He says to Amber. \

"Okay." She shrugs and bounces off.

"I thought Bailey told you to leave."

"And I thought you were never gonna come back this way." Ryan narrows his eyes on me. Yes, that was the original plan. I wasn't gonna come back after the week before, but I had to. I felt drawn to her, especially after that race, I needed to see her. As soon as I was done getting interviewed I made a b-line back here.

"I guess we all have a change of plans." I laughed nervously.

"Somethin's goin on with you. There's got to be a reason why you're here, and not in Georgia." Ryan was close to catching on. Ryan did say he was fine with me and Bailey, but he says one thing, and means the opposite, something me and Bailey learned. And he doesn't know about her, and she doesn't know that he's still here....why am I always the middle man?

"It was nice talkin to you, but I've got a movie to watch in the next town over. See ya!" I said, dodging around him and walked towards Bailey's cabin.

"Hey, what took you so long-"

"Shhh!" I locked her door, and looked out the window.

"What's going on?" I stayed silent, looking out the window in case he followed me. I know coming straight here was a bad idea, but I made a zig zag pattern.

"I uh...ran into Ryan." Damn she smelled really good. Stop that, weirdo.

"What the hell is he still doing here? I told him to leave."

"He asked me the same thing."

"Where is he?"

"In the park." I shrugged, going into the living room. I heard the door open.

"Oh no." I ran out the door, grabbing her hand. "Bailey. Listen to me. Do not go there. You know you're just gonna get hurt." She stopped walking, and looked at me.

"He doesn't know about you and me, does he?"

"No."

"He wouldn't be okay with it. Alright. I'll let it go for now."
