Chapter 9: Meeting the parents

Bailey's POV

I woke up with my head buried in Chase's neck and him playing with my hair. His other arm was around my lower back with my arms around his neck. My right leg was hung over his, with my foot in between his legs. I stirred a little, so he knew I was awake.

"Comfortable?" He chuckles.

"Mhm." I said, hugging him. He hugged me back, kissing my head.

"As much as I would love to lay here with you all day, I gotta meet my parents at the pool room in half an hour." Chase laughs. I smiled, moving off of him so he could go get ready. I took that time to try and wake up a little before getting out of his comfortable bed. Like it was really soft, oh my gosh. I walked into the bathroom, getting my tooth brush from my backpack beside the bed, and brushing my teeth next to him. Chase moved on to running his fingers through his hair and then going into his room. I brushed my hair, loosely braiding it. I walked back into the bedroom, seeing Chase sitting on the bed on his phone.

"I'm on my way. Love you too. Bye." Chase hangs up as I crawled across the bed and put my arms around his neck from behind. I layed my head on the back of his neck.

"I like what you did with your hair." He says softly, taking my hand and bringing it to his lips.

"Thank you." I said, hugging him before letting him go.

"Your never this lovey in the morning. Everything okay?" He chuckles.

"Yeah. I just realized what I don't want to live without. Gotta make everyday count. I know you'll be at the next race. I know your gone for a couple of days, then with me most of the time, but I still miss you."

"I still miss you too. Were a new couple, were gonna be clingy to each other. Its perfectly nornal." It was almost like he read my mind. Chase kisses my forehead before saying a soft goodbye, then leaving me in his bedroom. I smiled. I was finally happy again.

I sat on Chase's bed in his T-shirt and my underwear, watching movies all day. It was pretty cool. Until I got hungry.
