-Haileys POV-

Cedric had started avoiding me ever since he found out my name had came out of the Goblet of Fire. Despite my constant attempts to tell him I didn't put it in there, he ignored me because he thought I was lying. In fact everyone seemed to have avoided me. Except for Harry, we got together as much as we could for we were the only thing we had left.

Hagrid had tipped us about Dragons being the first task, I tipped off Cedric. Him and his friends made these badges that made fun of Harry and I. I couldn't care less, if he didn't want to believe me then that's his problem. I wasn't gonna try to argue with him anymore, people can think what the want. All that matters is that I know the truth.. someone did in fact put our names in the Goblet. I just have to figure out who, and why.

The next week went by in a flash and I found my self standing in the champions tent as Dumbledore came in with a bag. This is where we picked our dragons.

Fleur got the Welsh Green dragon. Krum got the Chinese Fireball. Cedric got the Swedish short snout. Harry got the Hungarian Horntail. Leaving me with the Norwegian Ridgeback.

Shortly after the minister had explained the idea of what we were suppose to do. Cedric was getting ready to leave but right before he did I gave him a hug, which he hesitantly returned.

"Please be safe." I beg him before he slips out of my arms and out of the tent, onto the field. I jumped back as I heard the cheers go silent as the Dragon roared outside. Although I couldn't watch I was still panicking, praying that he would be fine and would be able to get the egg. Which my prayers were soon answered as he wobbled back in, the egg in his hand, dirt all over him, and scratches on his body.

It was until long after that Fleur and Krum had went on and came back with their eggs as well. It wasn't until Harry was called that I started to freak out again, hearing the dragon roar and the screams of the audience didn't help either. I was constantly pacing around the room, and I just couldn't control my nerves. I couldn't imagine losing my brother.

"Hailey he will be okay.. Harry is very smart and a strong wizard I'm sure he knows exactly what to do, you just got to believe in him." Krum says giving me a soft smile, I let out a shaky breath which makes Fleur and Krum walk up to me and wrap me in a hug.

"Exactly, I may not know much about him but he is stronger then he lets on. Besides, I find it so adorable that you care so deeply for him." Fleur says rubbing my back, eventually they pull apart when Cedric walks up to me.

"Hey.." He croaks out and rubs the back of his neck and stares at his feet. I just stood there and stared at him before jumping into his arms and burying my head into his neck. "I'm so sorry for how ive been treating gyou. Im your boyfriend, I should have known that you wouldn't lie to me." I hear a couple footsteps and a loud sigh. I drop from Cedric and see a beaten up Harry holding an egg and giving me a smile. I run over to him and instantly hug him.

"Oh thank merlin youre safe..."

"Hailey.. its your turn." I get out of Harrys arms and grab my wand. I turn back around to see everyone giving me a thumbs up and walking out. I instantly meet the eyes of the Norwegian Ridgeback. It didn't stutter to instantly breath out fire directly at me, causing me to jump behind a boulder. My eyes quickly scan the stands to see everyone cupping their mouths and watching me closely. I whip around the rock and point my wand out.

'AUQUAMENTE!" I scream out pointing my wand at its mouth. It stumbles back with its eyes closed giving me the perfect chance to climb up on the rock. As soon as I was about to grab the egg I felt a hard hit across my stomach making me fall back. The crowd screaming in terror as I bang onto the ground and the dragon quickly making its way for me. I stuttered as I seen it climb on top of me. "EXPECTO PATRONUM!" I scream out once again, a Lion Patronus shooting out of my wand and running around successfully distracting the dragon. I run over to the egg and clapse it around my hands. Without noticing my Patronus disappeared and once again the dragon was making a b-line for me. Shooting out fire, which partially burned my arm. "accio broom" I spell out, running around awaiting for the arrival of the new broom that Sirius had got me and Harry after we destroyed ours last year. When it got there I hopped on top of it and flew up to where it couldn't get me and waited for them to take the dragon away before landing down and going back into the tent.

Ever since the first task everything seemed to have gone back to normal. Me and Harry were no longer getting ignored and hated on by everyone and instead gave us sincere wishes and apologies. Even Cedric and I were on good terms and helping eachother figure out what we were suppose to do.

Currently I was on a walk with Malfoy. He was the only person other than Harry that believed I didn't put my name in the Goblet, which made us even closer.

"You know, I still cant get over how you handled that dragon... it was truly remarkable and brave. Are you sure youre not a gryffindork?" He says with a laugh and tucking his hands in his jacket. The whether got colder, it was chilly and it was obvious that winter was right around the corner> When you talked or let out a breath you could see your breath.

"Yes am sure.. I mean the hat did say I was a fit for all the houses." I say teasing him.

"ah yes.. I will never forget that. Hailey the Great.. fit for all houses." He says throwing his hands out mimickingly before running off as I chased him.

"Youre just mad because I'm better." I say rubbing my hands together in desperate need of making them warm, as of now they were so cold I could barely feel them. He grabbed my hands and wrapped them in his.

"And you know what, I am not afraid to admit that you are... as long as you don't go telling everyone I said that." He says smirking down at me, making me return the smirk.

"and what if I did?"

"I would either punish you by either not talking to you anymore or... pulling a really evil prank on you."

"But see threes the thing, you aren't really the brightest prankster there is Malfoy."

"Oh quite youre lying Potter, you know im superior when it comes to pranks."

"actually-"

"Oh shush you." He says before he randomly leans in and places his lips onto mine, I didn't respond for half a second before I kissed back. The kiss wasn't long, but it also wasn't short. When he broke away I felt a flutter in my stomach, I didn't know why.. maybe it was the guilt starting to settle in. My smile vanished and my eyes grew wide.

"Draco I-" I say my eyes darting all over the place trying to find the right words to say. " You shouldn't have done that.. I-I'm dating Cedric. I- how am I suppose to tell him this..."

"don't."

"DONT? How do you expect me to do that! Hes my boyfriend, I need to tell him. Hes gonna be so mad when I do..." I say pulling my hands out of his and backing up from him.

"Hailey wait there's something you should-" I turn around and run right back to the school. I didn't know what to do, I didn't know how I felt about it. But one things for sure.. I had to tell Cedric and once I did... I just know he was gonna kill me.
