That night Hailey had a nightmare. A nightmare so bad that it kept her up the rest of the night. A dark graveyard, littered in snow. A statue with the face of a human skull, and the name Riddle being showcased over and over again. Then she was on the steps, and it appeared that she was slithering up them. She peered through a door way to see a familiar face, Peter Pettigrew. Then another man jump in and hunch over a chair where a strained voice spoke out. a death mark. As dark as the night sky.

"Hailey at last! Step aside wormtail so I can give our guest a proper greeting.." The voice strained out, and then a flash of green.

She jumped awake, out of breath and sweating uncontrollably. Her mouth was exceptionally dry, and her scar on the side of her ribcage slightly throbbing. She groaned and grabbed her head as she sat up.

"Hailey is everything okay?" She hears a weak voice come from Pansy, who had apparently woke up from her screaming.

"Yea... just a nightmare. Go back to sleep." She says to the girl and climbing out of her bed and into the common room. She threw herself onto the couch that sat infront of the fireplace. She stared at the flames as they danced, it gave her Deja vu back when her name had flew out of the Goblet of Fire making her groan once again and squeeze her eyes shut. She so desperately wanted to get away from her thoughts. The more days that passed the more she felt like she was drowning in them. Not only has she not figured out the egg, with the second task being the next day, but she also couldn't help but not be able to shake away the bad feeling that was constantly consuming her. She knew something bad was gonna happen this year, but she just didn't know what.

Interrupting her thoughts the platinum blond haired boy had made his way out of his dorm to notice the girl staring at the fire. He was sure he heard someone screaming, so he felt the need to check. And just like he anticipated he found the Potter girl sitting infront of the fire lost in thought. He didn't say anything as he walked over to her and sat down next to her. He simply just pulled her into his arms, which she accepted as she laid her head in the crook of his neck. They sat there for a long time, silently helping eachother through the problems they were facing, and enjoying the comfortable silence that sat amongst them. When they finally had broken apart Draco stood up and reached for her hand ultimately pulling her up too. She didn't say anything to the boy, she just followed every step he took. As they held eachothers hands and made their way to the astronomy tower. Without knowing or taking much thought, as they stood at the top overlooking the beautiful forest, lake and the beautiful castle they called home Hailey realized that she not only had feelings for Cedric but she also had feelings for Malfoy.

But this time she didn't push the feelings away, or deny them.. instead she accepted them. Because she knew deep down that no matter how hard she tried to shove them away.

They would always be there.

The next morning

Although no words were spoken between the two, they knew what had come out of the night. Malfoy not only realizing that he needed someone to be there for him as the darkness would soon eat him alive. But he also realized he didn't want nobody else to be there for him but Hailey.

As for Hailey, she realized her true feelings for the boy. She realized that her love for the boy went just a little farther then friendship.

Hailey was talking with her brother on the bridge, listening to Hermione who was telling storys about why she acted the way she did last night. It didn't take a genius to tell that she had obvious feelings for Ron, and she was upset that Ron didn't ask her sooner. She also began to lecture the two about how they needed to figure out the egg, with the task being two days away.
