"A WORD?" ELIJAH steps into Cullen's room gesturing for her to follow him into the study.
"What's going on?" Cullen questions as she follows Elijah, stopping when she notices Klaus and Hayley also in the room. After yesterdays tragedy Cullen and Elijah had both invited Hayley to stay with the Mikaelson's for a while, hoping that being around friends would help with mourning.
"I believe I have an idea of what the weapon threatening our family is." At Elijah's words, Cullen straightens a bit, waiting for an explanation. "I was just with the Strix. One of their witches showed me a vision. It was a pale horse. I thought the pale horse might be something Biblical, or even tied to one of the equestrian constellations. There's Pegasus, perhaps even Equuleus."
"Neither of those sounds like a weapon, unless they plan to bore us to death." Klaus quips. "You know, it would be nice if, just once, the witches bloody well said what they mean."
"It keeps things interesting." Cullen cuts in, earning a smirk from Klaus.
"I thought only white oak could kill you guys." Hayley exclaims. "I thought you made sure it was all gone?"
"To our knowledge white oak ash is the only thing that can kill us, but who know, some many cursed objects and relics have been created nowadays." Elijah drawls.
A sudden memory flashes through Cullen's mind as she freezes. "Oh, my god." Everyone in the room glances towards her, confused expressions on their faces.
"What is it, Cullen?" Elijah questions.
"A pale horse." Cullen repeats. "Hope's toy. The wooden horse."
At her words Klaus eyes widen, realizing what Cullen was talking about. "The weapon, I made it myself. The pale horse. It isn't a constellation, nor is it a Biblical verse. It's a... a trinket I made when we were children. A toy carved from kindling which I gave to Rebekah in the hopes of easing her fears."
Elijah frowns in confusion. "I collected the firewood myself. It was fallen branches from everywhere, and...The horse was made of the white oak...That weapon is here."
The four of them rush to Hope's room, beginning to rummage through her toys. "This doesn't make any sense." Cullen exclaims as they come up empty. "It was here. I saw it this morning."
"The witch." Elijah speaks up. "She must have seen it as well. She told them. The Strix have a weapon that can kill us all."

"What are we doing here?" Hayley questions as they enter the gym. "Shouldn't we be helping find Freya?" After discovering what the pale horse actually was the Mikaelson's jumped into action. Turns out they were wrong about the Strix taking the toy horse, it was actually Aurora who stole it and after stealing the toy she stole Freya, leaving Klaus and Elijah to go after her.
