I take the worst bath ever

In a few hours we arrived at the river. "Well," Jamal said, "We're here." Sabrina huffed and puffed. "Whatever," she growled. "Hey," I said taking her hand. "I'll be back I promise." She met my eyes.Tears filled them. "I know," she said,"That you're strong but there's no guarentee," "I'll try my best," I promised. "Please don't do this," she pleaded. "I have to," I said. I wiped her tears away and kissed her. I could've been there all day but I had a job to do. "Hopefully that wasn't our last kiss," I said. I turned to Jamal. "Just go,"he said tearing up a little. We shook hands. I looked him in the eye. "If anything goes wrong I need you to protect Sabrina," He nodded. I approached the river. The water was black and full of lost items. Swords, paper, and etc. wahed through the currents. As I approached the river smelled of sulfur, and left a burning stench in my nostrils. I tried to ignore the feeling that I was gonna die. I focused on the small spot on the back of my hand. I turned to look at my friends. They looked worried. Too late to turn back now I thought. I jumped and instantly started to die. This was like swimming in acid. I couldn't concentrate. I started to choke. No I thought. My lifed flashed before my eyes. I couldn't breathe. "Trent," a voice said.  It was my dad. "Fight it," I remembered walking in the house finding the note that said my family was gone. I filled with rage. I felt a tugging sensation in my gut. I focused on the small spot on the back of my hand once again. I felt my strength come back once again. I started to controll the river currents. I opened my eyes allowing them to turn red and flew out the water. when I reached the surface my skin started to smoke. "AAAhhhhh!" I screamed. As i screamed  the river exploded all around me. Finally I relaxed. The river died down. I collasped from exhaustion on thew ground next to jamal. Sabrina ran toward me screaming. I barely heard it. Then I blacked out. " Trent," a voice was yelling. My eyes flew open.  Sabrina was kneeling by me sobbing loudly. I sat up. " How long was I out,"? "5 hours,"Jamal said. I noticed his eyes were red. "We thought you were dead." he said grabbing my neck. "Ow ow," I stammered. Finally he let go.
Then Sabrina slapped me. Hard as shit. I'm sure there's a red mark on my cheek. "What the..." I started. "Don't ever do thet again," she yelled. Then she kissed me. Jamal rolled his eyes. "Let's go before you know who finds us." As we left I felt something. My eyes widened. I looked to the sky.
"Something strong is heading our way," I warned.  I drew my sword. Holding it I felt stronger. "Hmmm. I got this guys." The monster appeared 15 yards away. It was Cerebus the 3 head dog. "What," Sabrina exclaimed. "You can't take him on." I looked at her. She just stared. I don't know why but I felt great. "Oh yes I can," I said. "I dove my sword into the ground. "Hades lend me a hand," I shouted. A legion of the undead appeared and advanced on the huge beast. I pointed my sword into the air. "Zues lend me strength," I said. A flash of lightning hit the point of my sword. Still holding my sword, with my other hand I pointed at Cerebeus. I felt electricity arch through my body and I aimed it at him. He exploded into little pieces. Sabrina looked horrified. "How," she started. Jamal studied me.  I put my sword away. "I don't know," I said shrugging it off, "But let's get going." Something told me that what I just did was only a small portion of the power I now posessed. "Now let's head to Goblin tower." I said. Together we ran off into the clearing.
