Chapter 4

Hours Passed

Connor didn't notice that Kathy texted him, he's so focused in reviewing and reading all the rules of the company.

Kathy walks to Connor's cublicle

Kathy: Hey I texted you like a thousand times I was about to call you but I'd rather walk to have a slightest effort in exercising 

Connor grabs his phone at the corner and scans it and saw Kathy's text

 I only got two messages  he thought

Connor: I didn't notice it , sorry

Kathy: What are you doing by the way that you missed the text I sent you?

Connor: Reading the book that the company gave me yesterday to make sure I'm prepared 

Kathy force herself not to laugh but instead she burst into laughter and it made Connor smile in confusion.

Kathy: Sorry about that, Alright! calm down Kathy

She stops laughing and wipes her eyes 

Kathy: You know Allie..... I mean the Boss is not the type of person that everyone knows about. 

She added , " He just doesn't like people who are not in the A game and he's not always the guy who hates the world as most people here say" 

Connor was not nervous at all but when Kathy said that, He feels like his about to get anxious

Kathy: Enough with the talking, Just want to tell you that we're going to his office now 

Connor is shock and looks at his watch 

 Shit! its 10:20 already, why didnt I see him passing by . I am literally in front of his room but I didn't saw somebody pass by, or maybe he's earlier than me?  he thought

Connor: Ok 

She smiles at him and walk towards the Boss's  door together with Connor and notice that he look tense so she smiles at him and pats his back

Kathy: My God, I can really see that you're nervous. Just introduce you and answer some questions  and then Done! he's a busy guy 1-2 minutes is enough for him. Nothing to be anxious about

How can I not be nervous when I'm facing and introducing myself  to the owner of the company I'm working in , like what the  he thought

He nods and let out a heavy sigh

Kathy: I'll call you when he's ready , just wait there for a minute

Connor: Ok, Thank you

Connor nods and as Kathy opens the door, he unintentionally looks inside and saw the man's side face but it got block by his hair

Connor felt like the God of emotions gave him a certain feeling that he never felt before . NOT TO A MAN

He looks at the man again 

He seems familiar though  he thought

All he did was to gulp

 Connor: Why am I feeling this? I shouldn't , I can't

He murmurs

Moments later, Kathy opens the door  and calls Connor by gesturing him to come inside. 

He sigh heavily and walks inside looking down.

AT THE CEO'S OFFICE

Kathy: Sir, this is the intern ......
