Chapter 7 New beginnings

Time: 6:27 AM

     I stared out my window as I watched the sun slowly rise. I couldn't sleep, I stayed up all night. Eugeo slept in a futon on the ground, he had a bit of a hard time falling asleep since he feels anxious in this new world and meeting new people. I thought of calling off the plan so I could stay with Eugeo and get him more comfortable to this world, but he insisted that we go.  More time passed and it was now close to 7:00, my alarm was about to go off soon. Right as I was thinking this my alarm went off, Eugeo jumping out of the futon looking around frantically freaking out. "W-what is that!?" He said looking towards me. I chuckle to his reaction to the loud sound and turn off my alarm. "It was just my alarm, it's used to wake people up" I say looking back at him. "That's weird, why do people need something to wake them up?" he says, now no longer in a tense position. "I don't know, cuz people are lazy here- wait, I just called myself lazy" I say scratching the back of my head. Eugeo laughs "yeah you did, but I don't think that lazy" he says exaggerating the that. "Hmhu, sure. Anyways, let's get ready for the day" I say getting up stretching my arms over my head. We both get dressed and brushed our teeth, we were then drawn to the kitchen by a good smell

     We were supposed to meet the others at 3
4:00 PM, we had a couple hours before then so Eugeo and I went into my room, We were both sitting on my bed not too far apart from each other. "You still nervous to meet the others?" I asked facing him. "A little, I'm just scared that I might say something weird that would be normal in my world but not this one" Eugeo says. "I think you'll be fine, you're pretty good with socializing" "I guess so" Eugeo looks down to his hands. "Hay au- no, never mind" I look at him with a confused face "something on your mind?" I say. "Wall, yes. I just" Eugeo stops and thinks for a moment. "If you don't mind me bringing this up, why did you try to, you know?" Eugeo says concerned. "Oh, that. He… I um, wall" I couldn't think of much to say.  I looked back to Eugeo and he was crying.  "E-eugeo" I say quietly. "what would make your life so miserable that you would want to end it? I know that we go through hard times in our life but that doesn't mean that ending it is the solution, there's more ways to get over it than this" Eugeo look down wiping his tears. " I'm sorry, from what happened I was completely blind to the others around me, I haven't had a lot of time to think about what I did but I know that I wasn't thinking straight" I lift my hands slowly and bring Eugeo into a hug, Eugeo gets closer and hugs me back, 
I put one hand on his back and slowly stroked up and down. " I won't do it again, just at that moment that was the only thing I could think of to end what was happening, I don't need to hurt you" I say quietly. Eugeo pulls away and looks up at me " you don't have to be sorry for that, if I didn't feel sad or worried that would make me a terrible friend, friends are supposed to worry when you get hurt" I say silent avoiding eye contact. Eugeo puts a hand on my shoulder and I look up at him. " I will help you get through this, I'm going to try to make your life more enjoyable" he says removing his hand from my shoulder. "You already have" Eugeo looks confused. "With just you being here makes me feel better, and you're the only person I've really opened up to to in a while" I say quietly but kind of Happy. Eugeo gives a small warm smile. "I'm glad". We spent the rest of the time catching up, well mainly me since he's only been alive for 2 weeks now. 

If it wasn't for sugu we would have been late, we all rushed out the door and started walking to Agil's bar. The air felt even colder than before, winter was approaching and almost all of the leaves were off of the trees. It was a long walk to Agil's bar, but we finally arrived and went on in. I then felt nervous, I'm going to see my friends, what are they going to say? Damn it, I made them worre. No! Now it's not the time to be thinking about that! "There they are!" sugu said pointing to where Shino, Lisbeth, Silica and Klein we're all sitting in around table with three more empty seats. Agil was also standing next to Klein. I look too Eugeo, he looked slightly nervous, I've never actually seen him nervous before back in his world, but since this is an unknown place for him it makes sense. They waved us over and we sat down, we all say hello and then the bar went silent. " we don't have to worry about anyone coming in, I closed the bar" I nod respectively and look towards the others. " I uh, wanted to start off by saying I'm sorry, what I did was foolish and I didn't mean to make any of you worry or hurt, I-" I was cut off " I've bet you've been told this already, but you don't have to be sorry! What type of friends would we be if we didn't care?" Silica said. "I guess you have a point" I say quietly "losing Austin was hard for all of us, and I'm sure she would want you to be happy" Shino said. "Agreed, and we're here for you man, you're not alone' said Klein. "Thank you, all of you" I say holding back tears. We talk some more about this topic and make sure everyone was okay, even Eugeo talked. But when Eugeo started to talk the conversation shifted to how he got here and who he used to to me.

"I still can't believe that he's from my video game" Agil said intrigued. "It's insane" Shino said. " I'm getting a headache just thinking about it" Lisbeth said putting her hand on her head. They asked more questions and Eugeo answered all of them. He got along with him really well, I mean he always got along with people well. All my friends seem to like Eugeo too. it got really late and we all went home, tonight was a nice night, I actually kind of enjoyed myself. I can tell this is a new beginning of something, something great.

I am so so sorry I haven't been posting, I completely forgot about this and writer's block was hitting me hard for like a week, it still kind of is so if you guys could give me some ideas for the next chapter that would be awesome! Again I truly apologize for how long it took this chapter to come out. Anyways, I hope you all have a wonderful day and or night
