┗ ━━┅━━━┅━━ ┛Anthony and Amélie exchanged a few words before she left, the man still putting the clothes away in his lover's wardrobe. He really did like the feeling of being so helpful and appreciated for it. Another fantastic contrast in comparison to how things were back home.
He was glad that he took the clothes down when he did because the sun had just now set and he didn't want to go out in the dark to retrieve everything. With the last shirt hung up, Anthony paused, looking at the contents of Alastor's wardrobe, and ran his hand along every piece of fabric that hung within.
What he wouldn't give to take it all home with him just to have a sense of the man he loved right beside him and hugging him at all times.Closing the door and pushing the drawers in, the blonde took a deep breath and set the basket back where it had been before leaving the room. He would leave his own clothes for the next day to wear out rather than now. He was comfortable in the clothes that were too big for him, not to mention they smelled of Alastor.
Heading back downstairs now that Amélie had left, Anthony whistled a tune in hopes it would help him keep his spirits up about this being his last night.
However, as he turned into the lounge, his whistling and walking came to a halt upon seeing what Alastor was doing.Once Amélie had left the house, Alastor didn't waste a second in grabbing two glasses for both him and Anthony.
In the lounge, on the table in front of the couches, Alastor carefully set the two glasses down and opened the bottle of wine.He could hear Anthony up on the stairway coming down, so in a quick attempt to get everything ready, Alastor darted out of the room to grab a few candles he knew were around.
Just as Anthony was coming into the room, Alastor was carefully lighting the two candles on the table, waving out the match, and turning around to face his lover."Anthony."
The man acknowledged with a nod and a grin, stepping aside so that Anthony could see the table set up with wine and candles. The blonde stood on the threshold, looking at the small setup and then at his partner.
"What's this for?"
He asked as he slowly stepped closer. He had a vague idea and if his assumption was correct, he was about to become an Italian puddle on the floor."Well, Mama was so kind as to let us have a bottle of wine from her stash in the pantry."
Alastor continued to beam, moving forwards and holding out a hand for Anthony to take.
"I supposed this would be quite a nice way to spend the evening, don't you think?""Oh... Alastor..."
Anthony sighed, taking the man's hand gently.
"Y' spoil me, I swear. God, I love you."
He continued as he brought his free arm up to wrap around Alastor's neck.Planting a gentle kiss on Anthony's forehead, Alastor stared lovingly into the other's eyes.
"I only spoil you because you more than deserve it, my darling. I love you.""Either that or you're really tryin' t' get me t' stay forever. I'll tell ya right now... it's kinda workin'."
Anthony chuckled lightly, feeling his cheeks warm slightly."Hm, perhaps."
With a laugh of his own, Alastor began to guide Anthony toward the couch.
"I do hope you like wine. It's personally not my favorite, however, it will do."
Once sat down, Alastor picked up the opened bottle and began to pour the wine out into the glasses for them both."I actually love wine."
The blonde nodded as he sat down, appreciating the little added detail of the candles."Ah well, that's good then."
Alastor smiled, picking up both of the glasses and passing one over to Anthony as he sat back comfortably on the couch.
