Chapter 6

Stitches dug his claws into the dirt as he stared at the sky knowing Pipet was above the clouds. "Everyone! Take shelter!" Ocean ordered as the rain and thunder worsened. Rain hurried Sun, Overcast and Badflower to her den with hearts. Stitches stood still in the mud as a sounding wolf sucuried into dens. "Stichez!" Ocean cried. "Snap out of it!" The winds began to pick up sweeping up dead leafs. Stichez didn't flush he just stared at the sky. Ocean walked beside him and looked at the same spot. Surle enough Scorch sweeped down fast, and towards the camp. Ocean's ears flattened as she shoved Stitchez to the ground. Stitchez swooped by them but missed and fell to the mud. He got up and growled. Wolves began to enter the camp. "I grow tired of you all" he growled at Ocean as she used the rain around her to attack the wolves coming at hand Stitchez. Pipet flew in and tackled Ocean. Sun saw and ran from the medicine den yelling "CHARGE" the wolves realized what was happening and all attacked. Pipet had no mercy as she tore up Sun. Stitchez lay on the ground watching not being able to do anything. As Pipet threw Sun to the ground she turned to him, her eyes a flaming black. She stomped over, "Join me " she whispered. Stitchez closed his eyes,the past flew back instantly where he asked the question to a very young Pipet when his heart was begging to dim, the question was to leave skypack and make one of their own. Pipet didnt know any better. He was lucky Pipet was still brave. Stitchez 'eyes stuttered open as the memory passed. "Brother-" Pipet demonic tone was cut off with Stitchez tackling her. Stitchez had a misty halo and feathery wings. "Yes channel you anger" Pipet began. "Let your heart sink into the flames, end me." Stitchez raised his paw but stopped. "I betrayed you, Your friends will die. Save them " Stitchez stepped back shaking his head. "No no.." The misty wings and halo disappeared. "AGH" The demonic Pipet screamed, raising to her paws. "You'll all regret this!" She howled grabbing the unconscious Sun and flying to the sky. "SUN!" Hearts called from on the medicine den. Scorch who was fighting Ocean smirked. Ocean looked back and Scorch shoved her off of him. Ocean tried to stand but Scorch stopped her. He lifted her head to watch. Hearts extended his small wings, revealing them and flew into the sky.

Pipet dug her claws into Sun's back waking him up. Pipet then quickly let go and Sun began to fall. Hearts flew and grabbed Sun's paw in the sky. "Your- you're too heavy aagh" Hearts exclaimed trying to hold him. "Hearts-" Sun paused. "I love y-" Sun paw slipped and began to fall again. "NO!" Hearts cried swooping after him. Sun hit the ground, as the rest of the underworld wolves raced out. Everyone rushed over and Heart floated down in tears. "SUN!" Ocean cried, lifting his head. Rain rushed over covering up the giant scars on Sun's back. Sun's cloak lay on the ground in pieces. Stitchez held his paw around Hearts, as they buried her face into Stitchez. "Th- Thunder" Sun mumbled. Oceans eyes widened with tears as Sun lifted his head, but it came back down quickly. Rain checked his pause but let out a slow sad "he's gone" Hearts broke down while the other lowered their head. Ocean stepped back, tears flowing from her eyes.
