Chapter 12

 X-ray stepped through the damp brush The sound of raging water drew near to him. He turned to the waters direction knowing that the rain had caused a wave, He lowered his head as the ground beneath him light up blue. X-ray saw again though the earth. His eyesight left a blue trail in the ground until Xray spotted Hearts on the cliff. X-ray shot up and raced towards it remembering the path as the wave chased him. Hearts panicked as the wave drew near, A sudden paw reached down towards him. Hearts relieved grabbed the paw holding him up. As he was helped he looked back and saw X-ray with a glowing blue surrounding him. X-ray bowed his head as the wave splashed over him. Hearts sat in tears on the cliff not sure if to run to the safer ground. She looked behind her to whom had rescued her. Sun had, he smiled as the glowing stars surrounded him. He quickly vanished and Hearts saw Ocean holding her paw down for her to climb up the second cliff. Hearts closed her eyes as tears dripped to the ground she darted through the slippery grass towards them Ocean pulled her up quickly as the wave grew inches away Ocean and Riptide dug their claws in the dirt as their eyes lit up purely blue. The wave slowed but did not stop. "I- i can't ho- ld it" Riptide muttered under his breath. "W-we can do-do it" Ocean muttered back. Heart hid under Rain shivering. Rain looked down and moved her leg closer to Hearts. Sunshine looked at Riptide with fear of his death. Sunshine then looked behind him and realized what the pack was doing. The pack was not running. They were ready to die- preparing for the worst as you will. Stichez stood near Rain and nodded before wrapping his tail around Hearts. Bad Flower and Overcast stood beside them, eyes closed ready to face death.The pack began to gather side by side and lower their heads knowing what came next. Sunshine looked back at the wave inches away from Riptide and Oceans snouts. "Yo-you can't give up now" Sunshine mumbled. He stared at the night wolf expecting her to reply with the same answer. She lowered her head and turned around, darting away. "A-" Sunshine stood not knowing what to do but one thing. "Riptide!" he called. Riptide didn't flinch. "I'm Sorry. And I love you!" He cried. Riptide's ears shot up. Riptide looked back. As Sunshine ran off following the night wolf. Riptide ears lowered as he turned back to the wave. "O-ocean we can't hold this for much longer" Ocean ears drooped beside her "i know" she mumbled back. A sudden shot of lightning came from behind the pack the wolves jumped and looked behind them and saw Galactica. The wolves scattered out of her way as she marched beside Riptide and Ocean. Glatica closed her eyes and the water began to fall backwards. The rain had frozen mid air as the wolf scattered around not believing. As the wave disappeared, Ocean looked up and Glatica who smiled. "H-how are you here?" Stitchez muttered from behind. Galactica turned to him. "Your mate. His spirit was- given to me to free you all from death." Galactica barked. "Wha-what does that mean-" Stitches whispered. Rain turned to him "He died- but instead of living in the afterlife he.." Rain paused as tears filled her eyes. "He gave his spirit and his soul to Galactica so she could interfere with our futures" Rain finally finished. Stitchez shot a look back at Galactica. "He deserves great honor." She bowed her head before disappearing. Stitchez raced down the cliffs and quickly found X-rays. It lay beneath the first cliff. He was covered in scars and was soaked. Stitchez lowered his head. Before staring at the sky as the clouds disappeared, the bright full moon lit the sky. Stitchez raised his head and began to howl. Ocean looked down and him and joined, soon the whole pack was howling. Pipet watched from a tree near them. Her eyes, not black but normal. She lowered her head before she spread her wings and her eyes turned back into the pure black control.
