Lesson #9: Step Out Of The Scene - The Invisible Woman"Eleanor!" His voice called as I slammed my locker door shut. Tyler stood beside me in a protective stance as he jogged towards me.
"Ty, I'm gonna go to maths early to..." I muttered quickly, not bothering to finish my incomprehensible sentence.
Ignoring his confusion, I turned to the direction of the girl's bathroom before I practically ran towards the pink doors while Thomas shouted my name. And I couldn't help but notice that none of his friends were with him.
I slammed open a random cubicle door and slid the bolt along the glittery pink line to lock it, before collapsing on the seat of the toilet, my head in my hands.
I knew I had to face him sooner or later, and I know for a fact that he doesn't know what he's done wrong but I just want things to stop. Everything's too much for me to handle and too many feelings are involved.
I don't want anyone to get hurt - I just want everything to be back to normal. But I can't do both those things and that's what is eating away at me the most.
Sighing to myself, I flushed away the clean water in the toilet before stumbling out of the cubicle, a fake smile plastered on my face.
I quickly rinsed my hands under the sink and walked out of the bathrooms, coming face to face with the one and only Victoria Simms.
"Hey, girl!" She squealed and pulled me into a bony hug. I made a mental note to buy this girl some muffins.
"Er, hi Victoria." I said, suddenly annoyed at myself for wearing trousers instead of a skirt. Victoria looked gorgeous.
"Tyler's waiting for you." She told me, a smile still plastered on her face. I waited for her to let me past but she didn't move.
"Er..." I mumbled, awkwardly. "Thanks for letting me know."
When she blinked at me, a smile still on her face, I decided to take a few steps back. Something was telling me she wasn't as happy as she was showing. Her hand was on her hip and her eyes were crinkled together as she looked around my body, as if she was trying to find something.
"Vicky-" I decided to act casual and friendly but she cut me off.
"Don't." She snapped and I bit my lip, now getting slightly worried about what might happen to my beautiful face. But why was she acting edgy with me?
"I, I don't-" I stuttered but she raised a hand for silence. I shut up instantly, realising she held a lot more authority than I had originally thought.
And then she swiftly moved to the side, letting me pass her and I stumbled out of the bathroom immedately.
"I'm not as stupid as you say I am." She called after me and I froze. She knew I had called her stupid? But how?
I shook my head, deciding to ignore it for now and rushed to my maths class.
"Aaaand whaat is the answer? Hmmm?" Mr Matthews asked was he peered around the class. He was crouching on the floor, picking up a broken pencil.
"Rachel!" He suddenly shouted after a few minutes of silence. The class were practically sweating as they prayed to not be called on, and a huge sigh of relief chorused around the classroom, while Rachel looked ready to cry.
"Um, I dunno."
"Oh, now that's not good enough." He said and people snickered behind their hands at Rachel (who was now bright red).
"Tyler! My main man, can you tell me?" He asked, suddenly changing to a swag gangster kind of attitude.
"Seventy-eight point four, sir." He replied and I watched as everyone rolled their eyes and groaned at his confident voice.
